Welcome to the Fandom 💜 there is a lot to learn and discover (especially on the music side) bts has a lot of songs here they sung 3 of their songs and 2 songs by other artists... Fun fact (in case u didn't know /or found out yet) "Black Swan" by BTS (4th song they sung) has 2 different offical music videos : one featuring BTS while the other features a contemporary dance crew as they interprete the lyircs with their dance (this version has some classical instruments added in the music and I really wish that version was also on Spotify & Co) also before they released this MV and the whole "Map of the Soul: 7" Album they created the project "connect BTS" which had BTS supporting Art projects in 5 different cities /countries around the world as with their support they gave contemporary Artists not only finiancel support for a project that the Artist wanted to do but also "connected" the art world those artists are from with their Fandom and an audience with people in it that may usually aren't interested into this kind of Art...if the Pandemie didn't happen that project would have been bigger but shortly after Map of the Soul: 7 got released covid happend and those art exhibitions got cut short etc. anyways I am not so good at explaining but maybe if u are interested u can look up information on that... There are also interviews with the Artists that bts did on their youtube channel on bangtan TV.... They also visited a few of the exhibitions (also filmed as bangtan bombs on their youtube channel) anyways that Art project made total sense in relation to the release of Map of the Soul :7 and BTS in general... They also work in a lot of lituratur or myth etc. references into their music (so bts music is not only good for the soul but also for the intellect if that's what interests u of course.. Oh yhea "ON" by BTS which is the title song of the "Map of the Soul 7" Album also has 2 Music videos this time both have bts in it but one focused on performance /their dancing while the other on storytelling. @@TheLunaFaerie17 yes they are serving their country but they will all be back in 2025. The first ones to join the military will finish their service this year.

@shrileiok2303 Yeah, I Googled it and found out that all able-bodied men between 19 and 30 have to do mandatory military service, or they will go to prison. Some people are exempt from service, such as athletes, if they're seen to have promoted South Korea's national prestige. K-Pop stars are not exempt, though, which is a bit strange.

​@@TheLunaFaerie17There were discussions whether to allow BTS exemption. In between the government changed in SK and it appeared to us that the current government was going to use BTS. We don't knw y but Jin decided to enlist and the SK gov had no clue that BTS would take such a decision immediately. They were going to drag on this discussion untill a point so that they can use BTS for their need. That may be the reason our boys thought it's better to enlist Tha. Being scapegoats. And when they enlisted stocks of all the kpop industries fell down, the Korean music Assosiation head begged them to change their decision. BTS went through a lot bcz of this enlistment issue. They faced attacks from other fandoms and opposition and when they decided to enlist evn then there were problems bcz their enlistment would cause huge loss to South Korean economy. That's y earlier government made a special law called BTS law which enabled them to extend the age of enlistment to 30 yrs instead of 28 yrs, when Jin crossed 28 Yr. Evn in military BTS members are succesfull. JIN & jhope who joined first hot early promotions bcz of their excellent performance in military. Other members who recently joined are also appreciated for their top notch performance in military.

I love all of them but Jin in the back left is my bias. I like him as he's actually quite a shy and self-conscious going red in the ears and neck if too many people look at him when he speaks. He says he's Worldwide Handsome to give himself confidence - fake it until you make it! It's an ongoing joke which I find endearing.

Yes go for it!!! BTS has a huge variety of genres in their music to offer they also have a huge music catalog as a group and on the side they also released a lot of music on their own... If u want to check out their songs they sung in this carpool karaoke they are : "Mic Drop (remix)" this song has quite a few different versions also check out a live performance if u can (for example at the MAMA awards (that is along with the Melon Music Awards one of the biggest Award shows (stage wise) in South Korea... "Black Swan" this song has 2 Music videos very different from each other one with the members and the other has a contemporary dance group interpreting the lyircs with their dance (they also added classical string instruments for the MV sadly that versions isn't available anywhere else other then in the MV) And the last BTS song they sung here is "ON" also has 2 MVs one performance /dance focused while the other is more story telling focused also those lyrics! In general for bts songs it's worth to check out their lyircs and for the Korean lyircs (while the MVs come with eng subtitles) there is this website by a bts fan that has most of their lyircs translated and also gives some context etc. info's just Google "doolset bangtan lyrics" and u should find the website. I only can recommend to do a deep dive into their music! Last but not least : Jup they are super entertaining and wholesome down to earth lovable 7 very different people that somehow fit perfectly together as a team and each add a color to the team as if they were destined to become a team! And if u want to watch more of their fun side I can only recommend "Run BTS" their own varity show that u can watch for free with english subtitles...u can watch it either on their youtube channel "bangtan TV" thought there are only English subs until ep 100 or so maybe not even urnil 100 anyways u can also watch it via their "weverse" app (there is also a web version thought u need to create an account anyways) than after chosing bts just go to the "media section" and u should find all Run BTS episodes and here the all have English subtitles... Okay that's it from me....don't know if u celebrate Christmas or not but today is Christmas in my country so if u do " Merry Christmas"
