These guys are hands down best ambient duo to ever walk the earth, while others are good their songs sound the same. These guys got albums upon albums of very original tracks and they all are amazing. It's mesmerizing, with or without herbs influence. Love love and nothing else. They make this planet a better place. ❤❤❤❤❤

It’s also great for learning languages - I’ve been learning new words in Old Norse / Dutch / Norwegian / Faroese / Gothic / Icelandic / Danish / Breton etc while listening to this album and to the other CBL albums over the past few weeks and it’s not distracting at all, so I can memorize the words normally, just like I used to do without music in the background!

I felt kinda lost after a long summer of drinking,did a sober october and found some magic mushrooms. it was a nice trip and after a 9 months I still get these ideas and theories bout life and humans,nature. this is my take : plants and threes never leave home.they stay connected to the ground and take in its nutrients all its life so its always in good shape in its lifespan. we humans dont have that connection,we must eat and drink the needed fluids and food to get by ourselves.but we lack the connection to mother earth. thats why we feel so good walking in nature and go hiking.watching a sunset,sunrise.stars,moonshine. go bathing.feel the breeze. we let ourselfs get that kinda connection.I feel that the connection I got via the mushrooms put my soul in contact with mother earth and It took me back to my roots and healed my jaded soul and fixed alot of my mental issues compunded over the years of living on this planet. I felt like coming home and when the trip wore out I felt like leaving but was asked to come back anytime I wanted to. Im not religious but I do feel like I become spiritual after that trip.I enjoy nature more now and psykedelic music like this make me feel reconnected again :D

@chief hurricane LOL I know he likes the song. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be like those idiotic grammar or punctuation trolls in any way. Its just...I love writing so goddamn much that I borderline worship it, an act of reverence which, if not controlled, would be as bad as murder or rape. So, with that being said, I couldn't help myself but to speak out against some of his literary errors because it made my soul cringe like being electrocuted by lightning itself -- but not for the sake of me deliberately scoping out his mistake just so I could put him on blast -- but because I see that Aaron Ellis has tremendous writing potential. As such, seeing writing strengths and talent within his comment, it was only natural for me to point out his error because the writing lover in me had to protect Aaron Ellis from overwhelmingly profound yet dangerously overzealous emotions as it mars the writing judgment to the point where it would force one who writes to share words from the heart that would be fueled by such a maddening frenzy of expression to convey profound feelings to the readers that, by doing so without no restraint whatsoever, it would become overly pedantic - so much so, that it becomes complete incoherent foolishness! I say this because I myself was once a criminal of this. And, eventually, I had to suffer for it. And when I say that I had to suffer for it, chief hurricane - yo…chief - I had to suffer. At one point, I got so overly “thought-provoking” and emotional with my writing, that I ended up defending giant turds of ridiculousness covered in rat vomit and the breast milk of demon roaches! I’ve written crap! And I was so caught up in my feelings and emotions that I defended my own trash. But as time passed, and my eyes opened, one day, chief hurricane, when I had read over some of my once thought-provoking pieces of writing, I said out loud to myself, “What the hell? I had written this SH*T? What was I SAYING? What is THIS? I wrote this?” Do you understand the terror - the sheer traumatizing horror - of this experience? I hope you do! You must! This can’t be a tribulation experienced only by people who write or consider themselves, “writers” (although, I wouldn’t call myself a “writer” because I don’t believe in labeling myself or restricting my persona and very being through mundane titles of prestige or profession because I know that we’re greater than what we do, and are capable of doing anything as the divine power within us all makes anything possible. So why say, “Oh, Im a boxer!” or “Well I’m a lawyer!” or “Hey, I’m an engineer!” or so on. Why restrict yourself? Ok… that’s enough. This is off topic).

"Only erratics recognize . Errors in patterns of a perfect design" Will always bring thoughts back to the surface - end of marriage to a true friend. Seems that my affinity for this type music exploded around that time, midsummer of 2006. This was the gateway album. 😻 Well...the actual gateway album for electronic was Oxygène - Jean-Michel Jarre in 77' - for me with "Lucky Man" by ELP in 70' being the gateway tune . 💓 "What about the forests? When I get my own place.. Going to have a nice big modern house. Top notch speakers in the ceiling of every corner in the living room. Making it sound so real that you're in another world.

Indeed a World of Sleepers. When will we wake up and fulfill all our true potentials? Love is the ultimate truth, meet everyone with that intention in your Heart
@Mr.Relaxed
@Mr.Relaxed 8 років тому
Yes, I agree, the past of humanity is always there and in some ways it seems that there is no hope, no willingness to change. But if we learn how to be enpowered in the Here and Now, we will use our pasts "failures" to ensure a good world for everyone, where Love transcends fear and hate. I think it will happen, that we are headed towards that reality. Small acts of kindness, goodness and compassion everyday, lays the foundation for a future better world. I dont belive in absolutes, but in a constantly changing and radiating world
@Mr.Relaxed
@Mr.Relaxed 8 років тому
Well, in scientific terms there really is no past nor a future. So fear exists because we allow it to and we belive it to be real.. Thus fear can be manipulated to gain power and to control people. But there exists an opposite to fear, why not put the main focus there? Gradually, fear will fade away. It pretty much boils down to each humans focus and how strong we dedicate ourselfes.. and ofcourse our willingness to actually want a change

The only issue I have pertaining to the remasters is that they aren't going into each other to form a cohesive musical journey, which is my favorite for any album!
