Natural pred and prey relationships among animal people in stories are always interesting to me. Fighting an inevitability maybe? Thinking it could actually work and not end in tragedy? There's the morally dubious power dynamic and the chance that any number of things in the future could cause an undisciplined carnivore to snap and seriously hurt their fragile herbivore partner. Its Jet's eyes in the red scene that tells me they're not always in full control. I'm sure Fennel suffers from paranoia and terror spells being a rabbit and all.

Drawing the "creepy" frames of the cat with no distinct face features like a nose or whiskers and just having the eyes wide open really adds to the animation. 10/10, very cool :v

That description is so relatable. Honestly though I wouldn’t have thought about any connections to beastars other than the rabbit character. I think you can have a similar character relationship and still stand out from the more popularized media. This art style is really nice by the way🙌🙌🙌💪💪💪

This might be off topic but, i had a pet black cat (that we recently had to put down due to health issues) that was best friedns with my pet rabbit (a white rabbit eith black spots,so pretty similar to the rabbit in the video.note that its still alive and healthy) and just seeing this video reminded me so much of them im actually tearing up lmao also ur art style is so pretty omg

1.The art style here is on point. Able to invoke the softer cuter ideas behind a rabbit and cat character while also being able to shift the tone and invoke some darker/horror visuals and implications despite the scenes themselves being fairly simple. Along with the use of contrast in scenes. The last two frames I think are the best example of this. The soft tender moment contrasted by the final shot with Jet's eyes open and the background shifting from dark grey to red. It's good stuff. Along with, (going over this as I write the comment) the shot of Jet hugging Fennel. It's this sweet gesture. Cute character designs. But the viewers eyes are drawn to the spots of red. (The blood droplets follow Jet into the next scene as well on their collar of their shirt. Despite their expression being calm or even innocent. ) 2. Would you be alright with me using this edit of the audio? Figured I should ask. (Feeels really weird to ask while also giving a compliment but there's just. a lot of neat stuff here artistically I wanna talk about ontop of having that question.)
