Yeah I agree. A lot of people think and the duffer brothers(I think) said that season 5 will be similar to season 1 and what happened at the end of season 1? Goodbye Mike, and Eleven sacrifices herself to save Hawkins and the world. Pretty sad ending though so hopefully that doesn’t actually gappen

Think about it, do you honestly believe in what 8 episodes finshing off all stories and character acrs, as well as major deaths and deciding how to defeat Vecna, they're going to have mike come out as gay, leave el and get with will😭 probably a a will coming out scene at most. But that's brave thinking but cmon you byler shippers know deep down that its never happening. Mike has only been "boring" because he's els love interest but his biggest scenes are coming and it's definitely not because he's in love with will .

@@justpeachybaby5929 Yes cause they have been planning this since they wanted to call the show Montauk. If you just rewatch all Mike scenes since S1 it is clear as a day. Just by watching lot of scenes,you can tell they shot scenes in Mike's Pov that will be shown as flashback to in S5. Mike Is gay and has been using El cause he thought being with her will make him straight, that's why also he has been pushing Will since S3 and became a "bad" friend according to the audience

Season 4 Mike and Eleven would be absolutely pointless then, he was scared to tell Eleven he loved her in case she didn't need anymore, for him to end that and realise he's gay for Will? I can guarantee the Duffers will absolutely not write Mike gay and leave El for Will, if they do break up I still don't think Mike is gay or will run to Will. They can't fit all that into the last season, theres more important scenes going on. Secondly, I think at most with the time they have Will will have a coming out scene at most. Will from season 3 or earlier has discovered he's gay. I don't think he genuinely loves Mike I think he's discovered he has feelings for a boy for the first time and that happens to be his best friend. Theres no way they'll ruin Mike's character like this, and there's simply not enough running time in season 5 to then introduce this concept. The duffers had also confirmed no new major relationships will be formed in 5. I'm sorry I just know byler isnt happening.

@@justpeachybaby5929 The only way Duffers would have ruined Mike's character if he was El's love interest which he isn't and was never. Mike not being able to tell El he loves her is cause he doesn't love her, that's why he couldn't tell her and didn't want to lie to her. When she was dying he thought he had to lie to her to save her life and that's exactly what he did. Mike lied to El in that moment he loves her. All of this will come out in S5 and Vecna will be a major factor in this

The only reason El didn't die in 4 was because she felt the power and strength from Mike's love, the Duffers love to tease, but not in the sense mike lied to be with will, when will was crying in the car because he realised he had feelings for Mike, but mike had no idea, hes still with El, I'm not understanding where you byler fans are thinking there's going to be time for this, with major character deaths, new plots and the end of the show. They would completely ruin Mike's character by doing this, and season 4 mike and Eleven would be completely pointless. I reckon will tells mike he's gay, mike accepts and that's about it. Like will can be gay and still be Mike's bestfriend it doesn't need to become the generic two bestfriends in love. At most we might see Nancy run back to Steve if we're going romantic but absolutely not Mike and Will. Not to mention Will is top rated to be a major death, so it can possibly go, mike leaves el for Will and then will might die anyway. Nah the Duffers are amazing writers theres no way they'd ruin the show and up to 3 characters with this story line. I can put anything on this that byler won't happen.

Yeah, although it would make a little bit of sense. Maybe Eleven gets so upset after his death and the rage helps her to defeat Vecna. But yeah that would be depressing because I feel like his character is one of the most connected to all of the other characters if you know what I mean? I do think though that maybe El will die.
