@@winlam8792 no he just saw the bottom card and asked the boy to say stop and rather than picking the top pile he picked the bottom one and showed them the last card, you can also see that clearly at 6:09

@@winlam8792 only explanation is he got lucky with it. There's no way of switching it after that. He already switched it and then he asked what the number should be and the kid said 7.

It's actually more simple than that... It's always 10 + 3 + 7 ... I don't want to say how, but if you understand how to prepare a break in the deck and you pay attention to when he turns back ti the guy and says "I want you to count them here face down 1,2,3,4,5,6 ..." ... think about what JS did at that moment... then look at where those 6 cards that JS just counted (actually 7) cards go and where they end up... If you pay attention, the kid starts quickly counting them in his hands and he gets above the number 13 before JS is done his chat. JS should have said "Put these in your hand and put your other hand on top" . 7:12
