It's called a telehandler 😂 and realistically it's minimum of 5k probably more like 10+ as for the amount of money in that cash machine I'd be surprised if its 30k so the truck and the machine are probably worth what is in that cash machine. 😂😂😂 Thieves generally aren't that bright that's why they turn to crime because there aren't capable of holding a job down.

@@philipsmith4849a tenth of that probably mate, 2-3k if it's just been filled up, they intentionally keep the numbers low for this reason especially in rural locations, it's a pretty new tele and truck so 30k for them and probably 200k damage to the shop, ATM, stock and lost earnings. Pikeys.

@@xl000 very true but there is a huge international market for plant and tools, theft has skyrocketed over the past few years. We had 4 vans done at the same time in a hotel carpark back in February. The security cameras picked them up talking Albanian but the van they turned up in was on cloned plates, nothing has come back from it yet.

There was a gang that pumped acetylene gas into them and lit a fuse. The explosion generally blew the machine into parts and they used prybars & building tools to get the cash-boxes. IIRC the banks started putting trackers in them and when the police arrived at this location (home), the house cctv had recorded all the comings & goings.

As an American I'll say I'm impressed 😂, this neighborhood is so quiet not a single other person pops their head out to see wtf going on. Are the bobbies on horseback is that why it took so long to respond or were they at the pub? Yes we have a gun problem, I worked at gas station and was held at gunpoint once before I got my own gun, had idiots walk in and think afterwards it would be smart coming in at 3am saying "freeze this is a robbery" only to have a gun drawn on them🤷🤦, I work at a smoke shop which was robbed 3x before where guys threw bricks in the window and another time they were held at gunpoint. But the fact in evening someone can steal a machine like this, drive down the deserted roads, smash and grab a whole ATM, load it on a pick up and drive off, is hilarious to me, I'm assuming this is your "Florida man"

Wow, this is so stupid, on so many levels, only gun loving American could say. You see, in Europe we have something called insurance. Even if they manage to get away with this money and the police don't catch them, and this happens again in every city... it's still more profitable and safer than living in a country where every freak has unlimited access to weapons. And you know what's best? Due to the fact that access to weapons is limited here, the police are much more effective in their work and do not shoot out of fear at every child who comes around the street corner.

a few years ago the scrap metal merchant next door to me got robbed. I called 999 to say the alarm was going off and the police asked me to go in and investigate and only report it once I've got myself involved.

It’s never gone away, unless you’re talking handguns, in which case you’re mental. We don’t want the Great British Public getting access to guns and creating the sort of insane situation they have in the USA, where there’s many more firearms than people and you can still pick up a semiautomatic rifle with your weekly shop at the occasional Walmart. Can you imagine the carnage - a load of pissed-up, angry lowlifes staggering out of a chicken shop on some local high street on a Saturday night looking for aggro with concealed-carry 9mms and .45s? Lunacy. For shotguns, target pistols etc you just need a licence. The law’s fine as it is.

@@lococomrade3488 No but the punishment should fit the crime, that’s why in some states when you steal a catalytic converter out of the car which is worth a few hundred dollars but cause several thousand dollars in damage to the car that’s the amount they get charged with stealing making the theft a higher degree felony.
