I have learned to trust my instincts. The Triggernometry guys are frauds. From their comments regarding Matt Walsh being "mean" towards so called "trans" women (AGP's) and now what Dr. Saad is referencing, I am no longer interested in anything they have to say.

Gad has called out Lex better than any guy out there! I do not think Lex believes in much. He does not stand for anything. He is just a guy floating in space who thinks some mythical "love" is the answer to everything. Clearly he is skilled when it comes to mastering/understanding social media algorithms- this is where his intelligence resides. The algorithm mastery boosted him to prominence but what is disturbing is that so many people continue to be attracted to his uncritical emotionalism- that is not his fault- it says a lot about the masses and its not good.

I went into coaching instead of psychology because you literally advised me in a Q&A that psychology has been taken over by the blue haired crazies. I’m definitely in the 1% though 😂

I feel exactly the same way as you do about Trudope. We need to light the torches and get the pitchforks out. Listening to this made me so happy. It feels good to hear someone say the things I think. My daughter is always telling my husband and I that we're judgy. She has misunderstood having an opinion and point of view as judgy.

Taxation should not be needed at all. Government and local government should be competing with the free market to offer goods and services. True commodities, liberty, water, transport, should have a small deduction written into a very simple constitution which would be a subset of natural law.

There is something amazingly satisfying listening to the guy who wrote the happy book ranting about how pissed off he is! Great episode here it’s making me very happy hearing this. By the way as far as the tax situation goes, God only asked for 10%.

I think the problem with taxes is that that the government doesn’t have an incentive to be more efficient with the money. And there’s not enough incentive for people who pay the most taxes to move to more favorable countries.

Lex's earlier shows that got him popular were about science and technology, and the growing popularity got him access to dominant figures, and on to a virtuous circle of success. What we see here ,is the UKposts equivalent of the Peter Principle, a youtuber will rise to a dominance level of respective incompetence, Joe Rogan is another one. Sadly, they adopt the same faults of the classical media they were replacing.

This in nothing more than advanced voluntary ignorance, when one denies the existence of our own "Motor-Force" then the mind floats on emptiness and struggle to justify the derailment.

Good show! I don't mind some level of taxes, and I would love to have a word where my taxes are going, like checkboxes on form or something. "I want 15% to education, 30% to "free" medicine, 10% to w/e, and most important 0% to invest in some feminism studies in Afghanistan, 0% for handouts" and do not like spend half my money to these lying scumbags

Gad, it occurs to me that people who spout that "who am I to judge?" line do, in fact, understand its derivation. The REASON they are not keen to judge others is precisely that they know themselves to be unpleasant people who, if they were subjected to the searchlight of their own judgement, would be found wanting. Unwilling to do anything about that root issue, they work around it by claiming that judging others would be beyond their moral remit. Which, in fact, it is. On a more mundane level, these people simply lack any skills in accurately judging anything - and again perhaps they recognise this at a subconscious level, and take Homer Simpson's sage advice on the matter ("the lesson is, never try").

Without any help , I was able to divine Fridman as a moron in about 35 seconds.

I think there are two sides of the taxation problem. The other side is government spending and I believe this is the larger problem. Both are decided on by 'temp hire' politicians and have long term effects. We need to bring all of it back under balance.

And truth be told,, if I were to compare my intelligence level with yours,,, it would be like comparing in context,,, a seed to an old growth tree.. And me being the seed trying to have an intelligent conversation with you the tree would certainly have it's limitations... But at some point the seed begins to understand only one thing and wants to share it's understanding with the tree... Can that tree ever grasp any understanding of the seed that has never developed roots yet?... The seed is trying to explain that it's only beginning to understand that 'intelligence' appears to be the greatest of 'gifts' that I believe works for us, and or against us when successfully manipulated by invisible evil,, and seems to do both at the same time.. Why does intelligence appear to work against us when it comes to a belief or understanding in a God, Creator?...

The insulated masses are timid and weak. They don't have your emotional fortitude, built through war and conflict. They don't have the emotional strength to handle the hard questions yet. You try to blast them with unfiltered reality and they'll just disconnect. Lex's role is not to act as a delve into the raw ocean of reality, but as the emotional shore, safe and inviting for people who are just starting out and looking for listening that won't overwhelm them.

gotta disagree with you on this one. as I have pointed out before... put any human population under that level of oppression for 4-5 generations and of course violent rebellion is what you will get. it's even a motto of us conservatives - "live free or die", "dont tread on me", etc... these are looked at glowingly as words to live by and mottos in defense of freedom against oppressors. but for some reason when we see a population of brown people living these words out of sheer necessity and desperation, somehow they are the bad guys? this conflict shows the moral flaws in many conservatives (just as the war in Ukraine shows the moral flaws in the left). personally I hold true to my morality no matter which parties are involved in these conflicts. and so do many of the commentators I follow such as Jimmy Dore. and on a certain level this is all a psy-op to make the entire population of the world fight with each other. I dont take sides like so many reactionaries do. I am against war, against violence and against the killing of innocent civilians on all sides. thats why I have no moral conflict or no need to get angry at "the other side" here.

In the US it used to be that the bottom 60 percent of people in the US paid zero net tax. The top 20 percent of earners pay 80 percent of American tax revenue. In Canada, several years ago, 50 percent of your tax dolalrs went to health care. Middle income earners in Canada were paying far more for healthcare than Americans with gold plated insurance policies.

And yes, taxes are the most evil and soul destroying thing government inflicts on us. Getting rid of tax, and effectively doubling everybody's income, all this insane inflation wouldn't hurt so bad.
