Global crises come and go, some countries disappear from the political map of the world, new ones appear, video recorders are outdated, then CDs, virtual reality is gaining momentum, but in the Rossonsky district, on the border with Russia, all these changes are completely invisible. There, in a small hut, a farmer Yuri Boyko and his wife live on their land. Four dogs live with them, three dozen goats, fifty chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese (there is, of course, a cat as well).
The first time we visited Yuri almost seven years ago - and now we decided to visit the hermits again. There was a feeling that they parted yesterday. Our old friends practically have not changed and even seem to be younger. They are visited weekly by a daughter coming from Russia, and the hermit farmers have not seen anyone else for the past six months, but are not very upset about this. Having lived a quarter century without electricity, they finally got hold to a gasoline-powered electric generator. Water is taken from the river, at their 70-s, most of the food is grown on their own. About how these wonderful people live in a bear corner of Belarus, watch our next video monologue.
