This is the absolutely insane Zenvo TSR-S!
It’s an ultra-rare Danish hypercar, and the car you see in this video is just one of fifteen ever made, and each one will cost you an eye-watering €1.5m - and that’s before tax!
So what do you get for your money? Well for starters, the Zenvo is one of the most eye-catching road-legal cars around! There’s a whole shed load of aero across the entire car, from huge air intakes up front through to a humungous wing at the back!
When it comes to performance, the TSR-S is powered by an insane engine - a 5.8-litre twin-supercharged V8 that puts down 1200hp & 1200Nm of torque! It’ll also hit 60mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 200mph!

Idk if you knew but it actually turned out to be a manufactor problem, they ended up earning bank, couse one of the big manufactories had sold them bad cooling fans that was somewhat defect, even though it should be some high performance brand expensive shit. after they changed that part have they not had a single one catch fire... 😂😂

It’s amazing how today a regular family electric vehicle can accelerate in 4.x seconds just by pressing one pedal and then you look at vehicles like this, with all the high tech racing suspension, engine etc and you have to be super skilled to be that. Awesome times we live in. Well done Matt!

I remember when J. Clarkson made a review about a zenvo, and how it went up in flames, I was really hoping they weren't discouraged by that incident and I'm really glad they weren't

Yeah that sucked Big time for them. But Clarkson and Top Gear really made it seem like this car wasn’t good at all by not showing all the video they had for that day. The car unofficially reached 304 kmh (189 mph) which was the highest speed measured on the straight of the Top Gear test track in recent times. This information did not air on the show. Also not made public was that Top Gear clocked the acceleration time from 0-100 kmh (0-62 mph) at 2.69 seconds on damp tarmac. Instead Top Gear brought a lap time with the Stig conducted on a day where driving was not recommended in many parts of Britain due to low temperature and extreme rain. The weather conditions and the amount of water on the track severely reduced traction on the cars 345/30 ZR20 rear tires resulting in a lap time that does not reflect the real potential of the car in dry conditions.

They also have done little development since that car. They stuck a gimmicky rear wing on the back (any aerodynamicist could tell you that tilting the wing laterally does not change the downforce it produces) and made the engine a bit more powerful. Not to mention that Clarkson's verdict was that the car was old fashioned for the time, almost 8 years ago.

@@genogeno7289 tilting it sideways like that doesn't do much of anything. The tilt forward it does simultaneously does increase downforce but it does so across the rear of the car as a whole. There may be a very slight AoA change because of the tilt but I doubt it has any meaningful effect

God I'm so happy someone is talking about this car and Zenvo in general. We Danes aren't really well known for our engineering, even though we've done a lot of first and are very capable, which is a shame. Thanks for putting the work out there, Tusind tak fra Denmark!

pops and, more particularly, flames just reek of having a cheap fun button on the dash. it's no more than poorly set up fuelling. we used to do it by turning the ignition off and on, to 'frighten grannies'

This car is insane i've seen it blasting up the Goodwood hill climb a few times it sounds like thunder and seeing the wing in action is so cool, yeah its a little old school in some places but i'd consider that a positive as it makes the car more fun to drive compared to other hypercars.

This thing looks like a giant KIT CAR stamped out of plastic. It looks rough and unrefined. IMO it's not worth 1/3 of what it costs. Only 15 made? The manufacture is trying to recoup all of their costs in only 15 copies. Forget it...

Since the IAA this year was here in München/Munich i can only say i agree, i always liked the look of the Zenvo and also the Thor's Hammer Logo for the Brand. It's sad that Top Gear had this unlucky moment testing it, which made the Zenvo become a joke, but i hope the Manufacturer of Zenvo learned what caused the Top Gear one catch fire and have improved what was there top improve. I'm always happy when new and smaller brands put something new in the market. I also hope we will see something more from Apollo (former Gumpert) and Wiesmann, Spyker etc. Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps

Hi Matt, great review on an absolute 'nutty' car. Is there any chance that you could review in the very near future either of the two following vehicles please? They are both made in the US by RIVIAN. One is a pick-up truck the Rivian R1T whilst the other is a Rivian R1S which is a seven seater SUV. They are both fully electric with a claimed maximum mileage range of around 320 miles. Please try to do one or the other if you can. Many thanks Tony H
