5:30 Have put 3round ball and a federal borelock on top with 90 grains 3f did it a few times it works

My old .50 black powder isn't even a mag and its got some serious knock down. Gave it to a friend once to use and ended up giving to him..pain to load and clean but fun to shoot.

Wish there was a Scheels closer to me. I typically go the one in Omaha on Black Friday when I go there to visit family for Thanksgiving, but there are none in Missouri, my closest store is Springfield, IL.

Top Shot Dustin, I’d totally would love to chop a tree down with a AR-15 in 50 Beowulf that’s also 50 cal in semi auto platform. I’d be curious to see how much it would do to a tree if I had that option lol.

*to your door in most states...unfortunately not for me in NJ. I can still get them and there is a hunting season for muzzleloaders here, but i have to go to an ffl. Same for airguns 😢 Also, I'm pretty sure i saw somewhere not to touch the pyrodex pellets with your fingers, something about the oils/moisture might cause issues

@@TopShotDustin any idea which states allow hunting with a muzzle loader in the USA? I’m curious if some US States in certain areas allow it while others might not. Kinda like how California only allows 10 round mags as apposed to Texas having no restrictions on capacity.

@@TopShotDustin just realized how poorly I stated that question. The question as stated above is what restrictions does it have. So I stated which gun ranges and instead I meant to say as what hunting locations allow it in each state if by a chance that it might have some restrictions on usage. But I guess since it’s not legally a firearm it may not have any restrictions imposed on it. But I figured you’d have the best chance of knowing that answer.

Modern muzzle loaders don’t have the attraction of a historical design. They are just a modern rifle that’s harder to clean.

It’s for hunting. States have a separate season for these types of firearms.
