This cabin type prefab house is filled with all types of beautiful wood and gives somewhat of a rustic vibe! The manufacturer for this modular house is actually the Amish based out of North Ms. This home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and is a 24x40 size home with roughly 960 sqft. Land on average is $20k foundation underground plumbing underground electrical $15-25k and $40k for the building itself. On a high end $85,000 = No crazy mortgage. 😊

Some people think that the Amish are stuck in the past, but its more accurate to say they cherish a different life aesthetic. They value craftsmanship even in the areas you cannot see, they also tend towards basic time-proven designs and materials. They have adopted newer products as long as they uphold simple and durable and practical qualities. Window ac units get no love, but they are effective and durable - and from a practical standpoint a tired window ac unit can be replaced by anyone at a low cost that cannot be beat.

I really like it also but have one big problem with the only bathroom not having any storage at all. I'd love to see the outside materials somewhat mimick the interior & thoes 2 things would make a huge impact & really set this place off even more. Exterior lacks appeal to thoes with a extra eye for craftsmanship IMO.

OMG! A corgi!! My husband and I have 3 corgis so anytime I see another corgi, I get so excited❤. We're actually about to close on a new home from Clayton homes and we can't wait to see our corgis get to enjoy all the room they'll have.

No doubt about it, this home is built solid! I like the simplicity of it. It does have a cabin look about it on the inside. I like the hardware on the doors, closets, and cabinets.

I really like this home. I would want a island in the kitchen, bigger counter top in bathroom and the closet in spare room. Otherwise it's perfect for me and other retirees. Shout-out to the Amish for building this home and for sharing this beautiful home.

It would make a great vacation cabin. Needs a countertop instead of a pedestal sink. Pedestal sinks are for half baths.

I like this a lot but no too the pedestal sink and I think I'd want an a/c on the other side of the house too. Maybe a wood burning fireplace or stove.

Don’t understand why the ceiling fan is not centered. And needs a vanity sink, not pedestal sink. Enough room for one. As it stand no room on the sink area for anything

That AC unit is very loud. Did they find the cheapest unit they could. Or wait maybe that is the bathroom fan as Change is almost yelling over the noise

Not everyone wants to clutter up the top of their sink. The only thing I have on my sink is a very nice soap dispenser. Clutter is ugly.

The house/cabin is beautiful at a reasonable price! I would just add another bathroom. But with that price it would be easy and I love the idea of the air conditioner in the wall that makes so much sense

That is all I would need. I grew up in a 800 square foot home, and one wall air conditioner cooled the whole thing just fine. Of course, I wasn't in the South either.

Chance I like to see double front doors in the center of house and a porch all the way cross the front other than that I thought it was GREAT . I would have liked the ceiling fan centered .

Absolutely beautiful wood in this home. I love how they contrast with the trim. The only thing I don't like is the 1 bathroom. At least have 1 1/2 baths.

Beautiful home. The Amish do amazing work. My husband and I need to downsize and this home with a few modifications would be perfect. Too bad we can’t afford it 😢. Well, here’s my take on it: I like that the bedrooms aren’t tiny and the openness of the kitchen/family room. The kitchen does need an island though and that ceiling fan off center is very hard for me to see. I agree with everyone else in that the bathroom vanity needs to be a cabinet. There’s so little room for storage throughout. I would need it to be just a bit bigger to include a master bath (my husband and I tend to need the potty at the same time 😂) and walk-in closets in the bedrooms and room for a deep freezer. Having the entire home in that yellow tented wood makes everything look yellowish and dim. Using light colors for the floors and cabinets would offset all that. A lighter stain would help too. Maybe cream colored stain. More windows would help lighten it up some too. I wish the doors going out matched the rest of the doors. I love the hardware on the doors and the barn doors are such space savers. What’s going on with that cabinet to the left of the stove?? It looks weird like that. I would prefer an air conditioner that attaches to the wall or sits outside rather than one that goes in a window or hole in the wall. A ductless air conditioner would work best. The washer and drying setup is backwards for me but it’ll do. All in all, it is a great design for a small home/mini house. There’s one wall I would not change at all at 10:40. I would put my bed on that wall. It will accentuate the space brilliantly. I know I was very picky but Chance did ask for our opinions. Someone want to gift me a home like this with the modifications I recommended 😅?

This is THE PERFECT HOME! Metal exterior and cedar interior means no termites or carpenter ants or moths!!! I'd throw my wood stove in it and be good to go. And at $40,000 and not made like a factory built home, but by the Amish, you are getting so much more for your dollar. I'd much rather have this home than anything else I see on the market!❤

I like a lotta things about the house, buf w/change some things also. I'm not a fan of all yellow pine everywhere! I like painted shiplap on some walls..& vertical applications in others. I really like the corrugated steel ceilings that some use. W/they or other Amish closer in..build to specifications..in size..more windows?.and are the walls 6" studs w/insulation?
