One girl in my high school had periods so painful that maximum strength over the counter painkillers couldn't make it so she could function. She had to stay home during them and lay in bed and do her homework from there. Every. Single. Month. The fact that women deal with that and are as nice as they are is wild. I get a headache and I become snappy, they get gut-punched by biology and just roll with it.

Am a woman, can confirm that the strongest over-the-counter pain meds do absolutely nothing for me during that time of the month. I've also read about women who nearly died from apendicitis because they didn't think the pain was bad enough to warrant going to the hospital and then later told the doctors that they were actually relieved because they thought their 'period pain', which they mistook it for, wasn't as bad for once.

I remember walking down a street and having a random seagull diving at anyone walking by. It even attacked a woman walking her dog and gave both of them a heart attack. I've had to duck into bushes before, but this time I almoust had to whack it with an umbrella to be able to pass through the area. I assume it must have had a nest nearby.
