You met a lot of very kind people in Tajikistan, they invited you into their homes and offered you tea and bread, we could all learn a lesson in kindness and hospitality from these people, the doctor earns $100 per month but still is happy to share what he has, their humanity is admirable ❤️🙏

Notice how nobody is trying to scam or hound him for money but they only refuse payment . Tajikistani people are very respectful and kind. Love from Canada.

I'm a genX Indian. The Pamir Knot, the Wakhan Corridor, the Durand Line, Bactrian and Kushan civilizations were a staple of school geography in the 80's. During exams, you had to be able to accurately place these on a bare map. This one brought back memories. Another fantastic creation, as always!

I live in Azerbaijan and it never ceases to amaze me how when I travel to one of the former 16 Republics how similar they all are. My wife being from Azerbaijan and a Russian speaker fits right in where ever she goes.

A quick story about Bald’s Soviet videos. A couple of years ago I was living in Glasgow, during lockdown, with a few personal problems etc. I would watch his videos of Russia, Belarus etc and love every minute of it. I decided to start learning Russian online, inspired by Bald’s videos and adventures. Fast forward a few years and 7 months ago I moved to Moscow, I speak decent Russian and I’ve just started making videos for my own channel. Life has never been better! I’m not sure my life would have taken this unexpected turn if it wasn’t for this channel. So thank you, Mr Bald. Jim
