Keyboard can be so much easier than wheel trust me, I played a lot with a keyboard as well and you can have builds that never oversteer (literally impossible) and make them super smooth as well

CarX is a borderline arcade game I wouldn't call it a sim.

@@zepos You can build cars to an extent but it doesn't change how it feels to play. Especially with a wheel, it's even worse then. It's just point car in direction and it magically goes. Also you have an unnatural amount of steering angle. I will say the customization options are great. It has a Black Ops 2 style livery editor and the paint options are also really good. Just for reference I have almost 300 hrs in game. It's fun if you use a controller and treat it like an arcade game but if you're looking for anything above that you'll be disappointed. I'd recommended getting some friends to jump into a custom lobby and goof around while you chat. All it's really good for imo. Also just a warning, people in public lobbies DO NOT know how to tandem so unless you join a discord with people that play all the time you won't get any good drifts in with another person.
