True story: once I arrived at the vet and there was a man (somewhere around 50/60 years of age) holding his own shoulder together (quite literally, he was keeping it from "dropping" since it was completly dislocated) while talking to the doctor that was trying to convince him to go to the ospital. He also had bruises on his arms and one or two nasty cuts on his head, and dirt all over his clothes and body, but he wouldnt leave, they had to call an ambulance for him. Basically while the man was on a walk with his (truly beloved) dog, a landslide hit both of them. The man had a few seconds before being hit and realising what was gonna happen he basically threw himself on top of the dog to protect her. As a results, the dog was in a bad shape but alive since the man took most of it, he then went straight to the vet close by without even calling an ambulance for himself. He had no one to take the dog if he was in the ospital that's why he did it, but still he didn't leave until the doctor told him more than once that the dog was not in danger and she was gonna be fine. I should have specified that the dog was a small dog so she could have died if it weren't for the man

You can always trust a man that cares more about his dogs life then his own.

A hero's heart.

This is an amazing video in that it illustrates on the surface the bond a boy has with his pet dog. However, the underlying lesson learned in the video is much more profound than that. It speaks to the greatness of this boy's character and devotion he has for a friend, his dog. I wish the pup and this boy many wonderful years together enjoying countless warm afternoons...without any dangerous dogs around them.

What a selfless act of kindness from that young boy. His compassion is truly inspiring.

I lost my girl in 2013. She was my first dog. I don't think I could ever open my heart up again to another. She was a 1 of a kind.

I would've died several times over for my boy when he was here. Hell, i ragdolled myself across my frozen backyard after he fell into a ditch by the treeline and yelped. Broke a finger and bruised my tailbone so bad i couldnt sit for a week lmao. Fell like 6 times in 20 feet then jumped into the brush and threw him back up. I miss ya Gamz. I really do.

Aww dogs and kids are so wholesome. My parents got our first puppy when I was born (idk why, apparently we both were hard to manage simultaneously 😅) he was my best friend and he crossed over the rainbow when we were both 9 yrs old. I still think of him years later and hope to see him on the other side when my time comes❤
