I may be wrong, but I vaguely remember this pack has actual meat cubes and faux meat cubes. I'm wondering if the wrong one went into the meal. Also you can juice them with the fizzing machine... Gross!

To be fair it was pretty clear that those planters are really meant to be used indoors. I never deliberately putting any kind of planters outside, thanks to Sims 3 which had worse season mechanic.

I think that just happens when the Foodies Unite N.A.P. is active, so you might try repealing it (either in game by getting petition signatures or cheating it away)

Yeah it's not a bug unfortunately, they just wanna cook all the time with that NAP. no idea why it's always white cakes. One of the NAPs makes them frkn come over and make like? Stress relief juice or something? On my BBQ. And set it on fire, all the time. I have to keep my bbqs behind that stage marking fence from get famous lol

I'd love to know if they are even bothering to work on that bug. From what I've found it triggers more when there are more plants on the lot, and it tends to trigger after a plant has been fertilised when it is nearing the end of the period for which the fertilisation counts (if that makes sense). I can see it is going to happen if I have a Sim with above level 2 gardening, and they click on a plant, and it doesn't show 'research' among the options. That means it has bugged, but it hasn't changed the appearance to the just planted stage. It is even happening just with base game. I assume the OP knows how to fix this, but for anyone reading this who hasn't found this there is an easy (if tedious) work around. With TestingCheats On: (possibly optional step, I do this as a precaution) -Shift Click on a plant - Reset Object (Debug). This forces the plant to go to the planted stage if it hasn't already. If you click on a planter box, this action affects all bugged plants, but leaves unbugged plants alone -Shift Click on an affected plant - Set Gardening Stage...>Growth Stage>Mature. This restores the plant to the mature state, and if the plant was ready to evolve before being bugged, you can do that now. As long as you do that before 5am, the plant will still give you all the harvestables when it sprouts between 5 and 6. It's just highly tedious if lots of plants have bugged... I'd also love them to make sure that all plants in all lots can be harvested if you visit them, even if you weren't on the lot in that hour in which they sprout, that is just such an annoying and tedious feature... I have all the base game plants spliced in a room on my gallery (ID: CaptLL, Room: "Splice BasePlants (Norm)") which means there are only 15 plants on the lot, so the bug happens less frequently. They are spliced together based on rarity (mostly) separated by edibles and flowers and you typically get about 3 of each plant per day. I don't think I've seen this bug when all the plants are in perfect quality, but that can take a while in game

For the plants I think it has something to do with it not being the correct season, if a plant is not in season or sheltered then it will remain or revert to the just planted stage.

this like you cannot tell me it isn't a reference.. we know there are whovians on the sims team for sure seeing as there is literally a functional tardis in the sims 3 (that teleports you to different lots ) and an object that came with cottage living wich is also a phone box that has a blue swatch and it's description makes you go oh okay
