the AI behavior is very basic. They don't take cover or anything. Just stand still or walk towards. Always disappointing to see how little enemy AI has progressed from games like FEAR or even Halo

Its pretty barebones, but still pre-alpha. I have high hopes for the devs to make it great, maybe even better than Tarkov. Because right now it has lot more polish and content than Tarkov had at the start.

This is the type of game I would never play but i can watch you play it all day

I want this game to go well soooo badly. I had not heard of it, but all this footage has me salivating. If this was fleshed out, with unlockables, extraction gameplay, different types of missions, buildings and areas with fun exploration, this could be top tier.

Everyone hating or disregarding the game has to realize, this isn’t even early access yet, to be this put together and this functional before it even reaches early access is very promising. Obviously time will tell and we will see how efficiently and effectively they are able to roll out updates/fixes/features but for a play test this looks absolutely phenomenal. Take arma reforger for example, which I love, it hit early access in a MUCH more barebones rough state than this and it’s finally shaping up to be a great tactical shooter, this is already leaps ahead for how early it is. If you don’t like realistic tactical shooters then this was never gonna something you liked, but for fans of tarkov, insurgency, squad, arma, this game has all of us eagerly awaiting our chance to dive in with friends. And I know it’s a big ask but I really hope Microsoft takes notice and attempts to help these devs bring this over to console as well. Tactical shooter genre has so much untapped potential for console players, especially older players that don’t enjoy the speed of cod, Fortnite battlefield and apex or the sweat of siege. For whatever reason console devs seem to forget that we have always loved realistic tactical shooters especially with an emphasis on coop. Both rainbow six Vegas games and the graw games live on till this day with players doing coop t hunt and campaigns. This is just a larger step in the right direction from a those games and I’m hoping and praying for this game to succeed

Even just seeing all the stuff theyve fixed I saw from Tomos streams to this video is very cool and definitely gives promise to the game and the team. The environments and the weapon models are absolutely beautiful. Definitely hope this game goes well

if they make the ai work and optimise the game, this could be a very good game, the ballistics simulation is absolutely crazy with all the ammunition variants and weapons.

I am really looking forward to this game. I am just concerned about sweats camping LZs and camping your factions base. I really hope they have something in place to combat that. Great video Jack!

I feel like it’s a good start. The atmosphere is undeniably good. Some parts of the map feel empty but the POIs look good. The factions are a good idea, that if flushed out and expanded on, could be a really cool element. For it being pre alpha it’s at a good spot. Definitely needs to be optimized better and maybe have specific gear for certain factions making it easier to tell each one apart. I’ve got in some situations where I’ve shot a friendly running towards me or coming out of some bushes because cus you can’t tell.

16:40 the bamboo thing is very real and true only one down side, it can only be done in grow season, then it really grows fast. example you see the bamboo come out of the ground, lets say it sticks out 0.5 (what ever your value is) the next day its 1.0, day after 1.2, and so on, really really grows fast. oh and if i'm not mistaken its one type of bamboo.

Damn this is one of those games that comes along and has so much promise that we can't help but hope it's amazing. Hopefully it just continues to improve.

Still have amazing hopes, feel like this is one of the few games if it gets well supported they will continue to grow and make it better. A.I isn't always the easiest thing to work with, especially in a huge open environment like this. However the work they put into the environment speaks a lot. I feel like they will grow nicely ❤

Jack let Tomo know that Picatinny rail might fit the mosin to mount the scope. He was looking for a way to mount a scope the other day.

If I remember right it can go up to 2 inches a day. We had bamboo in my backyard in Florida and you can easily see how much it had grown from the day before. Mythbusters also tested that bamboo torture myth in a torture myth special I think. They said it was plausible or confirmed I can’t remember which

Check out Arena Breakout. It's a 1st person tactical extraction game for the mobile, but the devs have a test server out for PC.

This game is great to see in unreal engine 5 but I've watched a few people play and after a while it's all very samey from a viewing stand point.

Is it a ready or not feeling almost? I don't know much about this game but it looks very promising!

If you keep all of your stuff upon lagging out, what's to stop people from just disconnecting their ethernet cable or WiFi so that they lose connection? I realize there's a chance the game is detecting whether the client has disconnected from the server or if the server has shut down. But there are cases in between those two where a player could lose their connection on their end or only some players get disconnected due to a server bug while others stay in. So it just begs the question of how are these network issues handled by the game as far as when you keep your stuff and when you don't.

For context not that I'm some kind of expert but the "sight seeing" tour from the helicopter pilot are actually probably meant to be tactical maneuvers to avoid taking as much fire and to make it harder for an enemy to use anti aircraft capabilities. Again I'm not an expert but I know helicopter pilots in Vietnam flew in circles at times for those kind of reasons.

You know people utter the phrase.... ''Why can't people just be honest''? Then when those people that say that meet someone that says it like it is, tells the truth even if it offends, they get all butt hurt and offended. Well those same sort of people in gaming always utter the term... ''Oh i wish there was a totally realistic war game''. Yet when a very realistic war game releases, those same people then moan that It is too slow paced Too wide open You die too quick It's too in depth It's too hard.... Then the people that 'claim' they want a realistic shooter, then want the game to be like a CoD clone. I am sick of Fortnite, Apex, The Finals, CoD clones.... they are 10 a penny and there is no skill involved, there isn't. It is just all movement exploits, and silly physics, like drawing down your SMG and capping off the first 8 rounds on your enemy, but they throw a knife at you, and you die instantly? Or hitting someone centre mass with a shotgun, and they melee you in 3 hits and win a gun fight with fists lol.... It's ridiculous. ARMA Tarkov Hell let Loose Insurgency and now this..... When complete, are for me what military games are about, TOTAL team work, TOTAL communications, TOTAL skill. All these silly CoD ''pro's'', the reason why most of them don't play the games i mentioned, is because 90% of them would have their ass whipped and die. I can't wait for this to launch Beta and full.

Incursion Red River is another game in alpha atm that has a lot of potential It’s available for anyone to pick up also It’s not as polished as this but still for the price it is fun and seems to be a game to keep an eye on

Compass needs to be at the bottom of the screen. It'd be more visible AND in your eye line more than at the top.
