My daughter is married to a wonderful man whose parents were from Thailand, his dad is Thai and Chinese. They are now citizens and he was born in NYC. My granddaughter is half white American and half Thai/ Chinese. She is well loved on both sides. What a rich ,wonderful culture both sides are experiencing. My daughters in laws are very nice people that I consider a privilege to know and I love my son in law dearly. If only everyone would have a chance to experience culture from other countries. If only others had a chance to experience other races and the good within them. People should be open to new experience and meet people with open minds.

The reason why these people are so crazy is they base their entire happiness based upon election results. At least half the time, they are gonna be pissed off. I used to be one, don't get me wrong, but there isn't a lot you can do change things in a country with 328 million people, a massive federal bureaucracy, and a complex federalism working with state and local governments. For your own sanity, worry about what you can control, and I think that's what you're doing.
