@@Belligoated if you were to put it in the hours you work at a 9-5 that’s typically 40 hours a week. Double that is 80 hours. That’s two weeks but then add the 17 additional hours. That’s near three weeks and I didn’t say a month did i? I said nearly a month. So in work hours yes it’s about close to a month. If you are referring to someone working like 15 hours of the day each day then no that’s a different story. But to work that many hours on a painting each day is yikes.

@@jdos5643 if your referring in the amount of time he spends but I think he meant he spent a couple weeks on his art and spent 97 hours of those weeks / months doing a couple hours of work or else he wouldn't really say hours im talking about straight up time that he spent

I totally agree me and my daughter have the exact same favorite animal. I like horses more than she does but our favorite animal is the gray wolf and we always watch werewolf movies even the old corny ones lol oh my God I love this painting. I absolutely love it.

I wouldn't underestimate the skill of painting abstract art, because if you zoom in on the most realistic paintings (or even just real life) the details will be very abstract. I know a lot of people look down on abstract art but it's a great and important skill to have when pursuing realism! 😊

And then there are abstract ‘’artists’’ who can even draw anything properly, their drawing level is like that of a 5 year old, but they consider themselves great artists because they are so lucky that people a so fckn stupid to buy their artwork for insane amount of money, it’s paintings that the buyers would be able to do themselves lol.. realism requires real skill, it’s a shame that aren’t collectors don’t see that.

@@McKurdi I do both realism and abstract art I. Acrylic and watercolor and mixed media and abstract is by far more interesting to me. Realistic art is a formula. Did you know that abstract art is the number one selling genre? Look back on art history. It is the artists with style that are remembered. For example Van Gogh was an abstract artist.

Cool. But in the museums and art galleries today are White canvases. So called Modern Art. They have not a drop of paint on them and they are passing as art. There is a big scam and fraud in the art world today. Garbage is passing as priceless art.
