99% of Spurs fans will be content with 5th. Especially after being tipped (foolishly by some) to go down this season. Ange is a manager that Spurs should back over the next few years. The league is bigger than a Spurs/Arsenal rivalry. If Ange is backed then theres every chance they beat Arsenal to the title in the years ahead.

So I’ll say the same thing to you as what I say to all my fellow Tottenham fans, where should we be? I think there’s a problem with expectations It seems like people expect the title race. A lot of people both opposition fans and Tottenham fans. Think we’re bigger than what we are We shouldn’t be above Chelsea, We shouldn’t be above Manchester United, We shouldn’t be above Newcastle. Come on that was some start, I well rememeber in one of the games that madders took a bad knock and it got me thinking as to how weak the squad was if we lost a crucial player like him, well we had it both barrells losing Van the man and Madders. I did not like Ange telling the press that top 4 does not matter to him, that is an awful message to the players. He also wants us to be challenging the top 3 NEXT season for the PREM !, all I can say is stay humble Ange !

5th would be a good finish for Ange's first season. I don't think the team is ready for Champions League just yet anyway, even with a few more signings. It's still way off the team Poch had a few years back. A year in Europa could benefit the team overall and they would actually have a chance of winning it next season. Even thinking about challenging for the league title or Champions League again will take at least 3 full seasons.

Im not a fan of Ange. Not because of where are are or might be. But he has a loser attitude. Does he understand what this game is about. From his view fa cup, league cup and top 4 are nothing. You'll go into the champions league, won't stand a snowballs chance in hell of winning, get knocked out, then go on about how it's a good thing because now you can focus on getting in the top 4. It's this pointless cycle that you've been going through year after year. Aim for Europa league. You have a decent chance of winning that. Get a trophy, build on that, and use that win to get into champions league the next year.
