Sigh of relief the worst of the storm last night went around us in my northeast CO town last night. We were in tornado watch 133 area, 50 miles from Holyoke. Today rains and high winds predicted, hopefully that is it.

Storms will move through Tulsa potentially later this afternoon/evening, and then again tomorrow afternoon/evening. Both rounds of storms could become severe with damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes possible. Make sure to have multiple ways to receive severe weather watches and warnings over the next couple of days.

The storm really isn’t that bad in SWMO. Some rain and thunder. Barely any lightning.

These are morning storms. Afternoon storms will have more energy to become severe. However, as mentioned in the video, the coverage of severe weather will be isolated to scattered today into tonight from parts of the Midwest into the Eastern Great Plains. Not everyone will experience severe weather today and tonight.

You should never go look for a tornado during a tornado warning. Always seek shelter in a basement or the lowest, most interior room away from windows. Thunderstorms will re-develop this afternoon/evening and move into Western/Southwestern Iowa. The coverage will be isolated to scattered. A few of those storms could produce damaging winds, large hail (potentially 2" or greater in diameter), and tornadoes (one or two tornadoes could be strong). Stay safe!

A few tornadoes will be possible late this afternoon and into the evening. The greatest risk for tornadoes (including potentially a strong tornado or two) will be west across Northwest Missouri into Iowa.

A few rain showers before sunrise, but most of the day Saturday should remain dry. Showers/storms will move into Southwest Lower Michigan possibly well after sunset on Saturday evening into Sunday morning. There's a very low risk for those storms to become severe.

Scattered severe thunderstorms will be possible, mainly with the potential for damaging winds and large hail. The tornado risk is highest in the Great Plains, although a couple of tornadoes may occur across parts of the Midwest today and tonight. Stay safe!
