@Josiah Stirner well as a lions fan I only saw him drag teams that would have been 1-15 or 2-14 without him to the playoffs and pull off clutch 4th quarter comeback after comeback. Everyone’s in for a surprise with Stafford this year.

@Josiah Stirner the lions went to the playoffs in 2011, 2014, and 2016. We lost all 3 (should have won in 2011 got robbed by refs). Other two times we went 9-7, had a terrible roster and made the playoffs. Got smoked both times in the first round. I haven’t missed a lions game since stafford rookie year. And that’s only cause I was young then.

@Josiah Stirner do you know the lions record without stafford? 5-22 since 2009. Almost all those wins were his rookie year. In 2019, we went 0-8 without him. After starting 3-4-1. Almost beating the packers on mnf (refs blew that) losing to mahomes on a last second touchdown. Stafford carried us in those games. Coaching was aweful too. Matt Patricia never had a good game plan. And his clock management was sub par.

Remember this: the Packers won this game thanks to them consistently winning in the trenches without their last season's top pass rusher and top 3 offensive linemen. Say what you want about the Niners coming out slow or not playing their top QB (and Jimmy G did have his moments), but GB earned this one.

Was at the Rams Bucs game yesterday. And man it was a playoff atmosphere. For the players and the fans. Lebron, Magic, Dr Dre, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard all in attendance and the Rams performed beautifully under all the pressure. Would definitely recommend checking out that stadium. It’s like it’s own little city in there

I was at the Rams game. The building was absolutely loud on Tampas third downs. Brady balled out like a GOAT does, but their defense sold hard. No JPP and a beat up secondary produces the worst defense in the league

Matt Stafford has always been enormously talented, just not with the right team. Give him credit for trying to stick it out with the dysfunctional Lions and the numerous coaching changes he had to endure all those years. Glad to see him doing well on a quality team.

Last night on Sunday Night Football's broadcast every announcer picked the 49ers to beat the Packers. Being ready and thirsty to score, Green Bay got field goal and a touchdown. Very well premeditated. The 49ers were unprepared at the start of the game. Nevertheless that's what won the ball game. It's always difficult trying to play catch up from behind.

Rams played their super bowl yesterday. I’m not gonna excuse my Bucs, because we lost, fair and square. I don’t like making injury excuses, that’s what losers do. But if we face them again in the playoffs, and I hope we do, the odds of them playing a perfect game again are very low. It’ll be intense and a shootout, but man do I want that rematch because it would be electric.

I was at this game. It wasn't as close as the score makes it look. The 49ers were gifted two first and goals from the 1 yard line because of bs pass interference calls on drive ending stops on 3rd down. The refs gave SF 14 points and GB still won. Also the gb coaching staff made a big mistake in the 1st half going for it on 4th and 4 from the 5 yard line instead of kicking an easy fg to put gb up 13-0. Keep the momentum and don't give your opponent any hope (or the crowd any energy) if they had kicked that fg the last niners td would have been completely irrelevant.

I’m a long-time listener. I have really enjoyed Colin through the years. Was even with him back to ESPN. However, I’m taking a little time off after he started talking about NFL players needing to get the vaccine. He failed to read the room on this subject. If you have learned anything recently, Colin, I would hope that you would realize that people care a little bit about their freedom of choice. Your opinion on sports players getting the vaccine is no more important than the garbage man, a librarian, or for that matter, a prisoner. Nobody cares about your medical advice. Stick to sports.

I’m a packers fan, but the niners offense isn’t that great. Average QB, WR2 teir at best WR1, no solid RB. They do have Kittle and a great O line though. Defense wise, their corners are garbage.

A loss like that first game of the season can be just what's needed to light a fire under a team's arse. Everyone knows the Packers are better than that performance. Greenbay will be there or thereabout come January.

Aaron made a great throw, but that took monumental chokes back to back. Everyone in the universe knew that ball was going to Davonte, and SF just sat in a soft zone no where near him. SF gave that game away at the end

Here we go..🤦 maybe you didn't see it but the packers pretty much dominating most of that game til the refs started working for the niners..lol nah I won't make excuses 🤣 but packers played way more physical then the 49ers did on both side d & o line.

The 49ers are not that talented jimmy gives more handoffs than anyone so he can’t get into a rhythm so when he does throw the ball there high there low I don’t understand Kyle

The niners are very talented. Jimmy is the problem. Put any good qb In that system and they will succeed. Jimmy wins games because of the niners. The niners don’t win games because of Jimmy.

@@darshawn12able Lance ain't ready. You still have to know how to read defenses and call protections and audibles and Lance doesn't know any of that. He played 1 game in 2 years. He won't start for awhile
