I personally don’t use TikTok, but like others have said, many people rely on TikTok as a form income and business structure. This could permanently damage a ton of content creators and artist’s careers, which I would obviously not want to happen.

this is both good and bad because some small businesses sell things on tiktok like beauty products, so they make a living off of tiktok shop, so getting it deleted off of the US (most small business owners live in) could cause some bad things to those small business owners, and the bad stuff is pretty obvious on why its known of being bad like scams in tiktok shop, 'hacking', showing real people faces without permission, showing gruesome things, or d0xxing being seen most in tiktok, so deleting tiktok could be both good and bad

TikTok is such a brainrot. I am glad that the US is finally doing something about it. I am 13 and at the age of 10 I experienced a lot of depression, hate and stupidity from TikTok. It will be like fresh air for the US. Many kids on TikTok daily see "Sus" videos and inappropriate sounds. Its going to be pretty cool seeing TikTok finally falling down.

I spent 8 years scrolling through what used to be musically. I've noticed that our generation is going insane and lost from reality. I tried to go on a walk the other day and could barely stay off of my phone. I tried to enjoy the nature around me and none of it was appealing. My mental health is not being saved by TikTok. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder and many other things, TikTok has fed me more negative than positive. Though I believe that no other government out of the US should be able to track such things, I also believe there is more to why TikTok should be erased. Americans need to see life outside of social media, I know this would be a wake-up call for all.

What I think they should do is make a thing where people would put in there TikTok username and password into a site by the us government and it is a submission to completely wipe everything from that account and information from the device associated with that account but it wipes it from Chinese servers ans you can choose if you want all your info to be wiped from everywhere or if you just want it to be deleted from Chinese servers
