I’m sorry your mum done that I had that from my parents everyday till I moved out I have a 20 month old daughter and I tell her everyday from day one she’s beautiful etc and tell her quotes and I’ve been writing notes/compliments from the day I found out I was pregnant with her so for when she has her bad days when she’s older she will have those notes just know you’re beautiful and you’re a amazing person stay true to yourself

My mom had me and then my brother about ten months apart. I was born in March and then he was born in January.

we have also more children and one of their age differences is less than a year. It's actually not as bad as it sounds. But my mother and her three siblings were born in 2 and a 1/4 years apart (March 1963, March 1964 and twins in May 1965) and that's a bit of a ... overkill :D

Me too Anna. I can't count how many times I heard that. I got pregnant w my 1st in 1996. Had him in 1997. Pregnant w my 3rd in 1997. Had him in 1998. Pregnant w my 3rd,& last in 1999. Had him in 2000. I was pregnant, even if just for a mnth for 5yrs straight.

and accurate. i have always had a little mini panic attack while i wash my face. my mom said when i was born i didnt cry or breathe until they washed my face off, and then i opened screaming like a banshee and my mom says i never stopped lol. a fear instilled at birth i guess haha

@@montanamcmanus7302 even in the shower, i wait to wash my face last, i take a deep breath after i scrub and stick my face under the shower to rinse, i do it fast, a couple times to make sure its clean, but always, deep breath, rinse, face out of the stream breathe, repeat. ive always thought it was weird but it still happens everytime lol

If your pregnancy was easy, you’re one of the lucky ones. Many women suffer through pregnancies.... a lot of the time it’s not talked about publicly (just how badly or how dangerous some pregnancies are)- which makes it even worse for women who suffer (bc society expects them to be cute little pregnant women and talk about how happy and blessed they are)... I think it’s great when women with a platform share their experience of difficulties during pregnancy to normalize talking about it so more women feel comfortable going to their doctors with their issues

@@candicemorgan979 my pregnancy was relatively easy, I know that I was very fortunate; I'm in plenty of mom groups and see all the complaints and complications that can happen, and my sister in law (who also had twins) was put on bed rest. My comment was more saying that kids are more difficult than I expected (hence pregnancy being easier than raising humans) mostly because I was an only child, never babysat much, and wasn't around babies or young children much until I had two babies of my own to take care of. I didn't want to explain all that, so I summed it up with "pregnancy was the easy part" and left out the "because kids are f*!@ing hard!" part of the sentence. Sorry if I came off as bragging about an easy pregnancy. There should be more education about pregnancy in general, including potential complications and what's normal or not during pregnancy, as well as post partum, to destigmatize mom not being perfect little pregnant person, or "bouncing back" after having kids, or in perfect mental health after adding the responsibility of a human life and raising them to be decent humans.

We had 3 boys under 3, number 2 and number 3 are 1 year 1 week and 1 day apart (and that's only because number 3 was a week overdue😅)
