There are 3 meanings: 1) At the beginning there is a hint for a serial killer Chikatilo, who were murdering kids along the railroads. 2) In the clip there is just revenge on his grown bullies, as you said. 3) And in lyrics he just hate noisy kids who happened to be on the plane with him (lol), but he loves his own kids.

Till released this video on 1st of June: in Russia it is a "Kids protection day" , an official holiday. There is a lot of stuff here to think about: about bullying, about what makes people do, what they are doing : Chikatillo comes to mind (in 1989 he was still murdering people), school shootings (several weeks before the relise there was a shootout in Kazan school, which shocked Russia) The lirics more stress out that parents do not pay enough attention to their kids, just ignore them and kids annoy other people (that is partially why "I hate kids" is the name of the song), which is a cause of further problems: bullying, violence and etc. Btw, that is not official explanation, but just my vision of it. Would with pleasure listen to other ideas)

Love What Till Lindemann does solo or in Rammstein. He is such a skilled multi talent. The director of this one deserves a huge thumbs up too. The 25 minute short video released last week was just...... well creepy but in a good way and the story came together. Now please turn time forward to 2022 so i can use my Rammstein tickets i bought for concert 2020 :D

I hate Children's...released on International Children's Day. That's Till 😁 Lyrically it's about annoying, screaming children on the plane. The video shows Till as a child and an adult. Bullied as a child, as an adult he takes revenge on them for all the suffering. His wife supports him. She understands his pain. I think she's also the judge who lets him go in the end (only different hairstyle). The policeman who hit him during interrogation is, I think, his last victim. By the car bomb.

This song in my opinion could have also been easily a Rammstein song. One of is more creative outputs from his side projects. And in typical Lindemann fashion very multi layered. From listening to the song only, I think most of us agree that it is about a person having the thought if it is ok to hat children in certain situations as long as they are not our own. Most of us had these encounters and also the same thoughts. Once the video comes into play, it shows a different story. in my opinion the video the video is not only about bullying and how to overcome it, it also has a historical backdrop Andrei Chikatilo the Russian Serial Killer. Chikatilo was bullied as a kid, he was married with two kids (boy and girl), his wife stood by his side, at his trial he was in an iron cage and he was a teacher.

My brother sent me this track today and I haven't been able to stop listening to it, loved Rammstien when I was growing up and Till is a legend, his voice is iconic. Loved the reaction and you basically guessed everything right,even without English lyrics. 😎

The Mv and the lyrics are very different. The lyrics told about a self exeprience on a plane and the video shows how they killed his bullies the way they buillied him. One locked him in a locker..Till burried him in a coffin..one sticked a knife in his hand.. Till cutted his arm off

Fantastic song, I was hooked immediately and this video could not be more Till Lindemann, way over the top. Man is brilliant with a kickass voice and can’t wait to see him and Rammstein next year. I know the show is going to be EPIC!

In the video: Till was bullied all his childhood. So he grew up a maniac that decided to kill every bully who did him wrong in the way they did him wrong. For example a guy that closed him in the locker was locked alive in a coffin. And surely he got caught and prosecuted for his deeds. In lyrics he sings exactly about a hate to kids. First half of the song is concentrated about hating kids. For the bullying of course. On the second part of the song you get added "Can mann kinder shlagen" (can you beat children) and "Nein, ich liebe sie Ja, ich liebe sie Die Großen und die Kleinen Doch es müssen meine sein" (No, i love them. Big and small. But... They must be mine). That gets represented in video with his family that he loves much. Possibly whole theme is set by the story of one of the scariest USSR serial killer Chikatilo. But that's only my assumption

The Lenin statue bleeding from the eyes is kind of a wink at the alleged miracles in form of statues of Jesus, Virgin Mary and perhaps some other statues of holy figures from the Roman catholic tradition which a couple of times in the past have been reported to have their wounds bleed with real blood or cry tears of blood. Now, communists didn't have saints, but Lenin was their most celebrated ideological hero so his status was close to that of a saint.

The lyrics have nothing to do with the video. From the lyrics, everyone will agree. Everyone hates children. The video tells a different story. About bullying among children. Because they lack empathy. They are ruthless and brutal. The video shows the child's late revenge on the bullies.

He murdered the kids that bullied him in school when they grew up, in similar ways to when he got bullied... they guy who stabbed him in the arm lost his own. the guy that threw his toy car off his desk got hit with a regular car. the story behind it all is so crazy, and you can see it all in the short-movie that comes along with it! Till is one of the greats!

It is based on his short movie Ich hasse Kinder. It is about a serial killer and Til is at the police station in Russia because he was bullied by the kids in school, and they think he is the killer. It is such a good 20-minute movie. It is in Russian language but with german and english subs.

The Soviet children of the "pioneers" had the most beautiful uniform of all until today. It is a pity that it is no longer used, because the "pioneers" system is gone. My grandfather, my grandmother always talk about their childhood with great love and say the current schools are no good) But we are from Kyrgyzstan - one of the most distant provinces of the former Soviets. Almost all of my grandfathers, grandmothers and generations were the first in their family who literally descended from the mountains and received the best education, advanced knowledge completely free of charge, a job, they could afford housing, a car. How nostalgic they are for the past.

The airplane thing is firstly "I'm getting into a plane, it gets cold, I hear it screaming", and the song's point is definitely not about him hating annoying noisy kids on a plane........... My understanding of the story in this music video is that some kids could be really mean and be bullies, and that years of being bullied could contribute to a child growing up to become really angry and violent (as a matter of fact, very many of the most notorious criminals, including murderers, had story of being bullied). That's the video. The lyrics tell more of a man who (possibly bullied himself in the past, especially since that's what the video is pointing to), although he's apparently a parent himself and loves his own kids, gets really annoyed by other, misbehaving children and their sometimes incompetent parents. The video is showing him as a children's educator who's lashing out at kids in his care. I've known a few of those in my time of attending schools, those people might have been well trained to teach different subjects, but they were really bad pedagogues and often bullied the pupils too, even though they were parents themselves. From my place I'd like to say to everyone to always stand out against bullying wherever you might see it. I've been bullied myself as a child and the repressed anger building in me from that almost had me become violent against other kids too. Thankfully I realized it the moment I first wanted to use violence against another kid and decided I don't want to become the same as the bully that was beating me. Many children who were bullied become bullies themselves, this thing is being passed on like a disease.

That's what so refresying about Lindemann & Rammstein in general. Lindemann and the rest of Rammstein grew up in the DDR (East Germany). He lived his entire life under an authoritarian State which enforced censorship & stomped out their political opposition. For Rammstein or Lindemann doing this is as controversial as running through a town in the DDR with the wrong flag. I seriously believe they don't actually know where the line is. They don't self sensor because I think at this point they're tired of it. They're expressing the freedom they were deprived from as young Men in East Germany. And that is totally understandable. They no longer care about being "PC" because they are an inherently Left Wing band. My absolutely favorite musicians are Rammstein, Emigrate, and Lindemann.
