Awesome man. I was 12 in 1984. I loved Ghostbusters and Beverley Hills Cop. " I ain't fallin for no banana in my tailpipe." lol. I saw Riskey business around that time. Still one of my favorite movies. Love on a real train was awesome. I played my Atari on rainy days and went out on sunny days. I remember recording my favorite songs on my boombox or going out to the mall with my saved money to by records. I rode my bike all over town to visit my friends. I actually had a walkie talkie like the one in Stranger Things. I got it for Christmas the year before. I used it to talk to my girlfriend who lived across the street. Not everything was great. We had the cold war, but people's attitudes were great. Movies were fun, tv shows were fun. Do you remember V? fucking hell was that a great show. Videogames were fun. Music was fun. life was fun. People now are more afraid of a flu then we were of a nuclear bomb. It really does seem like a sweet dream. I cant wait to go to the movies and see Top Gun 2. :)

Well if anyone is pissed off over that then the hell with them. I was born in 1981, and the 80's kind of formed the spiritual and musical soundtrack of my early childhood years. These new synthwave tunes resonate with some chord deep within my soul. They create a futuristic sfici sensation that is so overwhelming it's impossible to describe. I don't know if you have to have been a child in the 80's to feel this way, or if other people, younger and older can feel it too.
