Wonka isn’t just a kids movie. As someone who saw the original as a kid, it hits a whole lot deeper seeing it as an adult. It’s special. I loved Wonka. What a beautiful movie.

I absolutely loved Wonka but when Timothee sang Pure Imagination, I was transported right back to my childhood. The original is one of my favorite movies, I must’ve seen it literally a hundred times. I also thought about how I was six the last time a Wonka movie had been in theaters (I’m in my 20’s now). I cried in the bathroom for like ten minutes after the movie because I was remembering a much simpler time ❤

Went to see wonka in December and I must say, it was one of the best movies I have seen in years. Just had everything, music, comedy, high quality acting. I am a cinema buff and I must say it engrossed me from the first minute, highly recommend it

@@Heroesrules1994 Honestly, I hated hearing Timothee speaking with a teenager's american accent in this movie. It kind of lost the mystery and broke the illusion of him being 'something like a magician'. I think british or transatlantic accent would have been much more appropriate for the role. And Tom Holland could have been able to pull them off, I'm sure. Btw, let's remember that Roald Dahl himself was British.

He was so great in an earlier movie---Love the Coopers. His facial expressions when he goes to the candy store to say hi to his crush! So funny
