@@dearbrave4183 i think dad's contribution wasn't mentioned much because he wasn't the one on this interview. But in reality I recall it was her dad drove 8hr one-way from Oakland to LA back and forth for Zendaya's audition in the early years. Both parents really put in the work and sacrifices.

Black women just don’t have similar experiences to her as the world receives them differently
