@@johnnybbgunner2136I’m working on a similar project myself. I live not far from Nick and I got a tiny house in the works. We saw each other’s projects in person. I recommend checking mine out too.

With the barrel floatation I would fill them with floatation foam. Be a little heavier on the trailer
@nickpellegrin6 днів тому
Have you priced 3lb density closed cell foam? Nice idea,will add 21lbs average per barrel. But closed cell foam is at an all time high.
@u812green75 днів тому
@nickpellegrin Doesn't need to be new spray foam but could be ground closed cell Styrofoam packing 💡

@Southern Life, don't believe what they tell you about the battery life. They are full of 💩
@nickpellegrin8 днів тому
Yeah thats what i hear,i did watch a youtube vid reviewing it,and on low the 12v ac uses 300 watts,on high 800 watts with a 1500 watt surge. But he has 1000 watts of solar and a massive battery bank.
@0xKruzr7 днів тому
@@nickpellegrin for the record I got 1000W of solar panels for about $500 total, 400Ah of 12V battery is a little less than $800, good solar controller is between $120 and $190. there are a few other things you'd want that are also in the $100-200 range but those are the basics, lmk if you need ideas.
@0xKruzr7 днів тому
one other thing - even on days when you have trouble with the sun, you can connect a 12V-12V charger from the motor to the batteries to top them up.
