Surely there would have been space if a wet bath was a priority for Tal & Ori. However, the multiple uses and flexibility of the bathtub/shower set up is pretty hard to beat!

Actually, long buses are cheaper than our amazing mid size 30'er, so "shelling out" wasn't the problem here. Also - trying to fit all the functionality in a smaller floorspace requires putting MORE thought than just cramming a regular layout of a 900 sq foot house into 200-300 sq ft space, so definitely lack of thought wasn't one of the problems of this build 🥵 I actually did leave room on the roof at the back of the bus for a roof deck, but honestly we never felt a lack of a roof deck especially since we put on the side deck, so I probably will pass on doing a roof deck. And thats the beauty of this lifestyle, we only really have/use what we need. Regarding space for the girls to breath - we are out boondocked out in nature the vast majority of our time, so the girls have PLENTY (!!!) of space to breath (and run, play, build...) 🥳 You're welcome to check out our instagram channel to see for yourself if they are poor and miserable instagram.com/twins_on_wheels_/ Regarding what we may or may not need 5, 10 or 15 (!!!!) years down the road - who cares? Would you rather be living an amazing life now or be stuck in a life that you THINK may be good for you in another 10 years? Trying to build your life around something you think MAY suit you in another 5-15 years is an amazing way to be miserable in the present. I highly recommend building your life to suit your current needs, and adjust as those needs change, because they may change in way you have 0 don't expect. And thats the journey we are on, which started 2 years ago all 4 of us in a 20' ram promaster which we were in full time for 9 months. When we grew out of that we switched over to our current set up, and I have no doubt there will be many future iterations of lifestyles over the next 15+ years.

It is fun to notice what you like and what you would change when it comes to a tiny home build. And surely, living tiny with kiddos can be a challenge. However, Tal & Ori are wonderful examples of people who prioritize the needs of their girls and family above all else. The wonderful community and wealth of experiences that their girls are growing up with surely makes up for some of the more challenging parts of buslife. :)

@@brutally_honest Thank you so much for your reasonable response to my criticism. I regret how harshly I worded my comment and was losing sleep last night thinking about how it came across. As to my point about designing for the future, I do find myself spending too much time focusing on tomorrow and less on living in the present, so you are totally correct that today's needs should take precedent over tomorrow's potential ones. We can always adapt, which is part of the appeal of this lifestyle. Your daughters are beautiful and I wish you all wild success!

They have done an excellent job with their build and sharing their dream with their daughters. I look forward to seeing more of your tiny home videos! They are incredibly inspirational and I wouldn't even be considering a change to the tiny living lifestyle without them.
