I think this looks more like a "real" home because of the house furniture than the folks that put wood on everything. it looks like so much fun and the guy seems so chill and relaxed to skoolie folks who are all about promoting some brand or website.

This is great. You don't hear this kind of thing too much. Here's a guy who doesn't take it too seriously. Obviously he's not living in it so he can afford to be more laid back but it wouldn't take much to make it a house. I like his laid back pragmatism. I'm really looking for ideas that are affordable and simple and won't add too much weight. MPG is important to me as much as comfort.

We LOVED this and everything about it, what a phenomenal spirit, Ray, we take our hats off to you. We would give ANYTHING to dance on the deck at Nascar! Anything, here, take the kids, pass a beer, we're heading over from Liverpool UK, meet you wherever the sun's shining. The most entertainment we've ever had of any tiny home or bus. Definitely, definitely our favourite!

This guy! from using a leaf blower to vacuum, to the 'wine spicket', the deck ladder, to the outdoor shower... I LOVE this and got to laugh a lot too! Im older and on my own so what a treat to have someone that figures stuff out cheaply and as little stress and hassle as possible. Good job. I would love to know some of the costs over all.

The bus is amazing, and the owner is even cooler. His style is infectious. My favorite part is right at the beginning where he says, "Hey!", and then laughs nervously 'cause he doesn't know what to say next...... we were watching it in the lunchroom at work, and all of us around the table burst out laughing at that moment..... not laughing AT the guy, but we were just appreciating the moment!

The main thing I've learned from watching too many of these van/bus conversions is that these are my kinda people! Just the salt of the earth, kind, creative and super interesting folks! Can't wait to join the tribe!

Could easily be one of the best skoolies I’ve ever seen

A roll up rope and wood steps ladder that can be rolled up and held with Velcro or use a system like a roll up window blind would save space in your living area downstairs. Creating screens connected with Velcro would give you nice air flow in the bedroom and keep out mosquitos. Your shower is so creative. And IMO..you have more than a little hippie in you , and you share the joy with a happy heart like a true hippy.

If I see you out and about, a beer on the deck would be awesome. That's my favorite feature on both of your busses. My dream is a bus with a deck on back top and solar on the front top. I'm thinking a drop deck outside the bedroom as you open the side door there also. Maybe a couple of sturdy chains holding it up.

This is one EPIC bus and I love the owners attitude.There's times when you come across things that are just right,be it a house,car or boat etc and this bus is one of those times.Also I love how he kept it a "bus" because realistically no matter what you do it is still a bus,so why try and make it something its not........Thanks for sharing and giving me a good laugh.

I like that it's off the ground because no bugs can get in. And in case of emergency you could get in the bus and go! I love your bus! You don't need all of the insulation that we do in Northeast Washington State so it works out great! I'm not looking forward to this winter because it's already getting cold, in the thirties at night. A person can die here it gets so cold... if you don't have Heat. If I were you I would keep that heater in in case you had to go north in case of emergency. It's the same as an air conditioner to you a heater is to us. It doesn't look so cheap so you must have had some sort of money to make it look that great! I love it.

That water tank on the roof reminded me of every poor country I've ever traveled in. Usually you'll see that for hot water, and consequently the tank is black in order to soak up the sun's heat. I know a number of middle class people in Nepal who have black water tanks on their roof, with what we would call a conventional hot water heater as backup. Interestingly, they tell me they seldom need the conventional heater except during monsoon season, when some days are rather dark due to thick cloud cover.

We've had our bus for 10 years now and lived in it almost 3 years. Whats great about a house on wheels is that if you get tired of the scenery it's totally adjustable.
