Brooke Whipple, wilderness survivalist and former contestant on History's Channel's ALONE, has never been shy about her love for the outdoors. Her most recent shelter build is a gorgeous vardo wagon, which she built completely herself for less than $5,000. We met up with her in Alaska as she was traveling with her dog, Moose.

@@maruiacancerctry taking a sip off Apricot Kernel Oil , when you go to bed every night keep a bottle next to the bed so you don't forget it cleans ya arteries out eats the cholesterol away puts more oxygen into ya blood cells and is known to eat at cancer and shrink it , it's great and natural 😊 but shush say nothin it's a secret ok 👍

Brooke has a great and fun channel. She and her husband have lots of fun projects they do in Alaska and I believe Wisconsin where they have another property. Brooke always keeps it fun but you learn a lot too. And I love how she decorates her spaces. Very artistic. Thanks for sharing this

When I saw she is in Alaska, I instantly wondered how warm a Vardo is! (I'm a Florida gal) Other than that, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the little cabin. She's quite the jig saw artist, and has a great eye with interior design. I enjoyed this video so much!

Alaska is pretty warm in the summer, but by October it's getting cold and ready to snow, Brooke's husband Dave has his own youtube channel Bushradical and he has videos of building a cabin up there

That Vardo looks like something out of a storybook or what a Gypsy would travel in. Brooke really honored the tradition of the Vardo with all that artwork and whimsy. And, the decor is charming yet comfortable. Moose is sooo cute! That's a whole lot of "unique" for only $5,000. Great job!

I've followed Brooke's Girl in the Woods vlog for a while and have enjoyed her creative homebuilding. Her mobile Vardo is one of my favorites. She really did beautiful artwork on either side as well as the interior. Moosie looks comfy too in his little cupcake bed. Jenny

TWO great channels highlighted here, Brooke!! Love watching your channel, you and your family are so inspirational. Loved watching you on Alone too!! Do you ever go to any of the primitive skills gatherings like Fire 2 Fire, Rabbitstick or Wintercount? I’d guess people would line up for days to get in on a class of yours. This channel now needs to feature the smaller wagon you built, the one that can be pulled with the 4 wheeler!! Safe travels Brooke!

I'm very impressed and inspired. My boyfriend of 12 years and I were in the middle of building our shuttle bus to RV conversion and he suddenly passed away at the age of 54. There's a lot I don't know how to do but with the help of UKposts videos like this, I'm going to attempt to finish what we started.

I love Toto! I was born and raised in the late 70s and 80s and my uncle played his record all the time along with Supertramp. My father abandoned us and he stepped in as a father figure for me so listening to these records brings back good memories for me.

I have watched her 'girl in the woods' episodes. She is a fantastic builder, also seen her in a canvas tent that she set up. Marvelous person, and much to be admired. Reminds me of my wife that is a woodworker. We have rebuilt houses, she does the finish work and I do the rough carpentry.

Brilliant design, and an amazing couple. I have no desire to live in a truck, but what I love about these videos is how inspiring they are, in how people work co- operatively and challenge themselves to learn new skills, and stretch themselves. Unlike the crap reality tv shows that encourages shallow, mean and unhealthily competitive behaviour. Love this channel, keep up the great work.
