Instead of a drill, you could replace the crank with a star/grip combo so that you would have an improvised squeeze trigger. Just don't get rid of the handle for all out "tree cutting".

Installing a drill or electric motor would convert it to an NFA item and requires a manufacturing license, but installing an electric motor, mounting it to your vehicle, installing servos, installing camera behind the sights, and putting a remote control inside your vehicle does seem worth the extra cost for all the licensing and stuff.

Your right its not regulated by the nfa its regulated by price. 70 percent or more of gum owners cant afford something at this price point its just like machine guns they are not any more regulated than a regular firearm besides the 200 dollar tax stamp which aint a problem its the 20-100 thousand dollar price thats prohibitive

You can put a drill on it, BUT it can not be fixed to it. So had long as your hand pressure is holding it in place (like a nut driver on a bolt head). You are good to go.
