TIPS for Installing RGB Strips - Corsair LS100, Airgoo and COOLO RGB Strips

A short discussion and demonstration on HOWTO install RGB strips.
I'll demonstrate installing standard RGB strips as well as installing Corsair LS100 stips internally followed up with Airgoo digital RGB Strips.

Hello, I bought the ls100 from corsair, it's very good, but I don't understand why they don't put a video image in both ports at the same time to combine the led strips with the pc fans, or that they do like Logitech that in their software they put a screen sample in all its peripherals and thus combine all the devices, corsair puts a lighting link in icue but in this section they do not

Nodes are 3pin and comander's are 4pin not interchangeable.. what's the work around to use the strips on the comander's..I have the conversion cable but it only recognizes as fan LEDs???

Hi, the LS100 starter kit comes with a controller to control the lights. I want to add LS100 1.4 meters strip to the front and back of my desk but the problem is they don't come with that controller that is included in the kit. So my question is how can i power both LS100 1.4 meters strips in my desk? Can i use 1 lighting node pro to power them both or I need 2 lighting node pro? The controller that comes with the kit, Corsair doesn't sell it separately so in order to get it i have to buy another kit and use its controller with both 1.4 meters strips on desk to power them. What should i do in this case and what will be the best scenario in this case? Using lighting node pro or buying another kit to get the LS100 controller.

Hi Uzair Altaf, I believe the MAX LED's per port on the lighting node pro is 60, and a total power output of 4.5A. The 1.4 Meter strip has 84 LED which will exceed the output of the lighting node pro. That said, you will want to get the LS100 controller which has a wall adapter for power and increased specs. 138 LEDs per channel, 192 LEDs (2 channels total), this would accomodate 2 of the 1.4MM strips, one on each port. That's a great question as always, I should do a follow up video on the lighting node pro and LS100. As always, thanks for your support!!!

I have the RGB led strips in my case connected through the node. I've ordered some ls100 strips now and I'm wondering if I can just carry on the sequence using the extension cables? Basically feeding extension out of back of case and onto my monitor I was thinking.

Hi Mikey Waite, for the lighting node pro, you can do up to 60 LED's per channel. That will be a bit limiting for the LS100 strips as the large ones have 27 each, but will work. In Addition the lighting node pro won't give you any VIDEO syncrhonization (as best I remember) If you use the LS100 started kit, that controller can do more LED's per channel, up to 138 per channel, 192 total and would sync your video with the lights.....I have a video on the LS100. I haven't tried alot of ls100 strips on the lighting node pro. I have ran extensions through the bottom of my case and used normal RGB strips to light my desk, etc....worked great. Just be mindful of the limitations on the controllers and have fun!!! Thanks for watching!!!!
