I’d like to note at the end of every “To Be Beautiful” animation, they have Eleanor looking back at Sarah with her GREEN eyes glowing. This just shows how the fandom knows that color is one of the most important details of understanding Fnaf, like how purple is always reserved for the Aftons.

Eleanor was the animatronic you saw in this video. In my point of view, she’s not all that evil as you think. She’s kinda the resemblance of karma. You see, Sarah didn’t like the way she looked. She saw this Animatronic on a walk in the junk yard. She wanted to fix it. As you see, she “fixed” her and the animatronic gave her a wish in return for fixing her. Sarah said she wanted to be beautiful. In the video where it shows Eleanor replacing her body with metal, they didn’t really explain that well. In reality, each night she slept, Eleanor changed a body feature each night. Legs one day, arms the next, torso, hair, and face. Sarah didn’t really know about the mechanics in her until the “incident”. She got more popular in school, and the boy she liked started to have some feelings for her. Well, notice how Eleanor told Sarah to wear the heart pendant. Eleanor had a matching pendant. She told Sarah to never ever take it off. Sarah didn’t know why but agreed to it. One day, she was sitting at lunch with a few new friends and when she got up to throw her food in the bin, she slipped and the pendant snapped off her neck. She was fine for a few seconds, but a few seconds later, screams of bloody murder were all across the cafeteria. She was crumbling away from life. She needed to get home to ask Eleanor what’s wrong with her. On her walk home, the metal in her was getting all rusted up, and it was getting harder for her to move. Once she reached the house, she went into her garage and noticed Eleanor standing right in front of her. She was in shock to see what fear came to her eyes. Bags with blood pooled everywhere containing her remaining body parts were behind Eleanor. As Sarah’s life was about to vanish, Eleanor transformed into Sarah’s old body and ran off. Sarah noticed, she was actually not at all ugly. Instead she was just one of the most beautiful people. Her life then vanished within thin air. I haven’t read the book in a while. Especially when it’s probably shoved in my closet somewhere, so I apologize if I got anything incorrect. I missed a few important details, like her mom, best friend, and transitions into her new life, but that’s not what I was going for in this entire essay thing. Probably, no one’s going to see this, but I REALLY needed a time killer. Edit: It seems that some people did not read the last part. I haven’t read the book in a while, so I don’t know every single thing I said here, right. Also, I wrote this two months ago, this is an old comment, so I had a lower comprehension.

The montage of events starting at 0:50 was so cleverly done. It looked good watching it like normal, but then I went back and slowed it down to get a better idea of what was happening. I have to say that the parallel made between painting the girl's nails and pulling them out with pliers was so incredibly smart, I didn't catch it until I slowed down the video though. All in all this is a masterpiece when it comes to storytelling.

In case anyone is wondering, this is based on the second story from the first fazbear frights book, which is also called ,,to be beautiful"

Okay this one is an absolute masterpiece. The music, the storyline, the animations. Insane

To change and become beautiful, to be someone you are not. You have to risk something in order to get it, this beautiful animation makes a lot of sense that some people in the world are risking their own self to do plastic surgery, some others do this to gain attention, compliments, and make the person u like, like u too. But some others do it for their own reason so I'm not really trying to offend anyone, just saying. I respect people's decisions but not all of it lol

The animation and story telling is really amazing, along with all the little extra details and the smoothness of it at 1:58 is amazing. The only thing I dont get is why Sara looks like a little girl compared to all the high schoolers (before she got changed to have the blonde hair)

this is what i wanted. To be beautiful is a brutal story, but all the animations about the story took away that bloodiest part and just had Sara turning practically into a robot, but you did something amazing making her turn into a broken and bloody endoskeleton a wonderful job you did

She got what she wanted, and It was to be recognized. To be breathtaking. To be out of this world. Ladies and gentlemen, be careful of what you wish for and be careful of those you let into your home.

This is based from one of the stories from Fazbear frights: to be beautiful. Basically Here’s the story: Sarah wants to be beautiful. This is because she thinks she is hideous and thus repulsive to the boy she likes. One day, she tries to make herself noticed by the popular girls by sitting at their table, but ends up upset when they don't notice her and accidentally spills a salad on her crush as he passes. Later that day, walking home from school, she sees what looks like an arm coming out of the trunk of a car in a junkyard. Curious, she uses a piece of scrap metal to force the trunk open. She finds that the arm belonged to an animatronic named Eleanor who was left sitting in the car. She takes the animatronic home, cleans it up, and then turns it on. The robot springs to life and introduces herself. To show her appreciation for cleaning her up and turning her on, Eleanor promises to grant any wish Sarah may have, to which Sarah requests to become beautiful. Upon hearing the wish, Eleanor tells Sarah to give her time to think about how to do it. The next day when Sarah gets home from school, Eleanor gives her a heart shaped pendant, and instructs her to never under any circumstance take the pendant off. Eleanor then instructs Sarah to get in bed so that she can sing her to sleep, which she claims is the only way for her to help make Sarah beautiful. When Sarah wakes up the next day, she sees that her arms have changed, and when she goes to school she gets a compliment from one of the popular girls about how her nails look. When she gets home, Eleanor again instructs her to get in bed after she does her homework, and when she gets up she is again changed. This continues until all that is left of Sarah before she met Eleanor that hasn't changed is her face. When she asks Eleanor to change this, Eleanor warns that she may not recognize her own face. When Sarah insists, Eleanor instructs her to once again go to sleep. Sarah wakes up with a new, perfect face, and goes to school. She becomes friends with the popular kids and gets a date with her crush. She spends an entire weekend with her new friends and her life is going really well. One night before school, she has a nightmare about Eleanor, and wakes up to find her standing over her bed. Afraid, she tells Eleanor to go to the corner, which Eleanor obeys. That day, during lunch, Sarah trips and falls, causing the pendant to come off. She starts shaking uncontrollably and hears screams coming from other kids. She realizes she is no longer human but scrapyard junk, crudely pieced together. She stumbles home in panic, but cannot find Eleanor anywhere. Finally, she looks in the basement and finds garbage bags full of human parts, which she realizes are her own. At that moment Sarah realizes that Eleanor had been conducting surgery upon her while she slept, replacing her bodily organs with metal scraps. Eleanor appears, wearing a heart-shaped necklace similar to Sarah's. She presses a button on it, and transforms into Sarah prior to her transformation. It suddenly occurs to Sarah realizes she hadn't been bad looking at all, but before she can confront Eleanor, she runs off, leaving Sarah to die.

I have never read the book, but I know what it is about! This is really well done! Like other comments are saying, to be beautiful, you have to give up everything to change yourself, but even after SO MUCH ATTENTION on the subject, some people don’t understand that they are perfect the way they are.

There’s more lessons you could actually learn from this video. Sure most of you said it's not a good idea having plastic surgery, but from what I’ve seen “ nothing is free and there's always a trade off”. Clearly, that robot had her own motives for giving Sarah that surgery. Basically Sarah got what she wanted, but she lost what she had…. if only she knew any of this before it was too late….

To Be Beautiful was probably my favorite from the Fazbear Frights short stories and i love this interpretation of it. Awesome animation!

The ONLY part that's missing is the mirror scene where she looks at her decaying body turning to scrap metal and regretting what she's done. But HOLY SH*T that's one of the most disturbing versions of Sarah's endoskeleton/human hybrid I've ever seen!!!! 0_0

Like everyone said, "to be beautifull" shows that to change, you give something in exchange of some material beauty. Let me explain : Sarah's transformation into scrap is a way to show that people running after beauty give up their humanity/morals. We see thag after her transformation, Sarah became more confident. We didn't see her being mean in the clip, but in the book, even if her beat friend couldn't see her physical change, saw her mental change. Second, I say that this is material beauty, because its not only physical. Everything that is material is something that you can gain like you can lose by buying or exchanging it with something else. Here, Sarah implicitly exchanged her life with Eleanor for beauty. And this is material because in exchange for a new arm, she had to trade her original arm for one who is more beautiful in appearance but in reality is just...waste. And third, the fact it is scrap metal is somehow meaning to me that the beauty Sarah gained is useless and unnecessary, topped by the fact that people are, most of the time, attracted by trash and without any valor, caring more about waste and changes than what they can trully appreciate for what they have.

I absolutely love this. This is like if you took nostalgic 2015 fnaf animations and combined it with, well, the now stuff

Honestly Eleanor is on a level of evil on par with Thanos from the comics and Ramsay Bolton. Eleanor could’ve just killed Sarah scanned her and taken her place but instead she built up her self confidence and made it so she would crash and burn leading to her decaying while still alive.
