I used to find my daughter all over the house between the ages of 1 and 4yo. God the number of panicked mornings just to find her in the laundry room, behind the blackout sliding door curtain, behind the toilet, in the tub, behind the couch, in the coat closet!!!!! And many more. We had to get special locks and basically lock ourselves in the house to keep her from wandering out at night🤦🏻‍♀️. And then had to get better locks when her baby bro grew up and decided he could just leave the house whenever he wanted……he’s autistic and doesn’t speak and is a 6’3” 6yo! Life can’t be easy I guess, but it’s not boring!!

True story ⚠️ My friend was having a family bbq. Well She had her toddler pose with a beer and an unlit cigarette for a funny gag pic. she developed the film on a military base and the base called cps. She had a case open against her. The toddler obviously didn’t really smoke a cig or drink but because it looked like he did, they courts said that was unsafe parenting- for him holding a cig (obviously ) but also equally as bad was him holding an empty beer can ( which some will debate is bad) Even if son wasn’t holding the unlit cig, she still would have gotten in the same amount of trouble .This was back in early 2000s in Cali too. She almost had her kids taken away but she did everything CPS asked, took parenting classes .cps stayed involved for a while afterwards. For good or bad: What some may find funny , there’s a chance the law won’t.
