It is pretty odd; then again, as much as I hate to say it, we kinda started to officially leave realism behind around when the game added Valkyrie and Caveira. More specifically; at the time of Valk's inclusion (2016), there were no women in the Navy SEALs; the spot was open, but there were none actually in for some reason (I legit don't know why; anyone willing to explain?). As for Cav; her criminal history would not allow her to join BOPE, and then there's her interrogation ability being able to get info from trained CT operators in seconds, and that info giving real-time wallhacks to the defenders. Even the base game had some unrealistic stuff, mind you; Tachanka's usage of ancient weaponry, Doc's medical syringes, Thatcher's EMP grenades, etc. The game runs on willing suspension of disbelief, not to mention a heaping dosage of rule of fun and rule of cool. Granted, those above examples are still more believable than Flores and his bomber drone.

@@Kingsman88115 And it's only gotten dumber. Flores is pretty tame - we have operators like Iana who has literally zero combat experience, a condition that would heavily reduce combat effectiveness, and a space-age gadget.

@@novaseer Yeah; still, the game can be fun, despite these flaws, though the besmirching of the Tom Clancy name is a bit annoying. At the very least, no one's a massive bullet sponge like in the Division 1.

Not to mention Spetznaz actually killed hostages during the Dubrovka Theater hostage crisis in Moscow. A thief with a remote controlled explosive drone doesn't seem so far away from Siege Team Rainbow's tolerance for potential collateral damage.
