I am a truck driver for Western Express. This morning my company asked us drivers if we wanted to go home for our safety. After 2 hours when they got done asking every driver not a single driver said no. We feel the pressure and we know what will happen if we stop. So your shelves may be empty for now but some where on the roads is a truck driver with those products and they are head to your store. We will never stop, we will never quit, and we will never give up on the people of the United States of America.

I'm a truck driver, and I'm trying like hell to help keep this country moving. I can safely say most of us in the industry feel the weight of that responsibility now more than ever. Don't stress. Don't empty shelves. We got you. So long as I'm able to drive, this truck isn't stopping for shit. And I know I'm not alone in this sentiment.

I'm a farmer, don't let people fool you, there isn't a shortage in food. People who aren't in the agriculture industry know very little because they are told very little if any at all, CNN and Fox aren't going to tell you what I'm about to. Dairy producers are literally pouring out milk on the ground because they have no more storage for it, but yet stores are limiting people to buy only so much milk at one time. Beef producers like myself are going broke because meat packers are making record profits selling to stores while the price farmers sell our beef for to the packers has only dropped tremendously. Same way with grain, which produces many many products you buy of the shelf, price the farmers are paid has decreased enormously since this started, farmers are going belly up because they can't sell their products without taking huge losses but yet stores are empty, how does that make any sense? I see a lot of comments from truckers on here, they will bust their butts getting food to you, but also remember your food doesn't just magically appear, us farmers also bust our butts and there is no shortage in food, don't let the media or stores lie to you. I really like the message said here, stick together, we will get over this, no need for violence or hate. Farmers are producing more than enough and truckers are working their butts off to get it to you. Thank a farmer, trucker, nurse, doctor, first responder, law enforcement, fire fighter, heck thank the lady working the cash register at the local grocery store, these are essential workers for this awesome country, not your movie stars or NBA players.

We lost my son n law and his father 4 days later to covid. My daughter is now anemic and needs meds everyday because of covid. We lost church members and just recently a 82 yr old lady from my job. I lost my husband just 4 months before my son n law to heart failure. I never would have thought this would happen to us. Now I have my daughter and my 3 grandkids living with me as well as my son his girlfriend and a kid I took in several years ago in a 2 bd mobile home. I am 57yrs old and never thought my older years would be like this.
