The 3rd takes place in a prision, so it's kinda hard to have sympathy when they're all criminals trying to kill each other. The 2nd one (the worst imo) is based around this old, fat, ugly british dude that watches the 1st film, gets inspired, and decides to make his own human centipede, and lets just say that you wouldn't want to be on the very end if you're a woman, and leave it at that.
