I feel so bad for Wilbur's friends (and Shelby obviously), they all seemed so incredibly close and to not only find out your friend is an abuser, but find out only when _the entire fucking internet_ does, and abused someone I assume is also their friends, must be fucking awful. I hope they're all coping alright. And I do like actually hope Wilbur improves. Probably shouldn't come back into the spotlight, but there's plenty of time for him to improve. If anyone sees this, after the situation calms down, just forget about Wilbur outside of like, watching old content of him if you miss it. I know there's good intentions for the most part but on one hand he'll just be getting more attention which I'm pretty sure he wants, and on the other hand if he genuinely has the capacity to change - which I believe it takes a LOT to lose that capacity and even then there's usually still a chance to recover it - then how do you think he'd react to people doing nothing but talking about him and talking _down_ about him? That tends to push people back into their little negative corners. Again, there's generally good intentions, and in case he tries to return before making changes then don't just forget it and let the evidence get lost in case of newcomers, but this sort of thing should genuinely be dropped(?) eventually on such a wide scale that it is. Hopefully he wasn't lying about trying to change. Even if he was, I hope he finds a way to somehow.
