Being the same "age" as the character Beth, I recall the only way we could wear such high fashion was to sew it ourselves. In the mid 1960s, we all wanted to dress like "That Girl". Great series!

I loved her all-black outfit. The series is fucking genius.

I loved the outfit she wore when she came back to school after the first few tournaments, that dark red button up with the black skirt, it's fairly simple but looks so good At that point she is wearing more fashionable clothes than the last time we saw her in school, but in the dark colours she still stands out from all the others wearing pastels, but in a more confident and mature way

This show is amazing, and I love how Beth's wardrobe sutbly nods to a chessboard, with shades of black and white! 😍🖤🤍 Major kudos to the costume department! 💖

I gonna say the Queen’s Gambit is the awesome and interesting miniseries in Netflix and my favorite outfit in the miniseries is the White Coat & Hat is very pretty The outfit and is beautiful in the same color white 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Favourites are: •grey World Champion dress •downward spiral camisole and cardigan •mint green hat and eyeliner •chess dress with the white diamond on front •green velvet dress •ensemble worn when she arrived at her hotel in Russia •cream knit top and trousers worn while she studied her book •white queen outerwear at the end 🖤🤍

Of course most of her clothes were chess-inspired but i also think that they represented her inner conflict. There was a battle between her brilliant mind/ talent and her self-destructive side. In the end, she was a "white chess Queen" not only because of her dominance as the best chess player in the world, but also because her good side won.

I’m a guy and I don’t normally notice wardrobe choices but in this series I was pleasantly surprised and taken aback by how much attention and flat out beauty came through with the designers choice to dress Anya Taylor Joy in. I think you missed one however, - One of the most noteworthy costumes was perhaps one of the more simple ones: earth toned comfy ski sweater that she finds herself in after hours… But for number one, I wholly agree, her a “white queen“ outfit made me smile when I watched it the first time.

Also Alma's pink gown in Mexico when she dated a guy was brilliant

I grew up listening to the mechanical whirring of her singer sewing machine. Cmon girls, its time to create your own wardrobe - now there's a Netflix show and a half.

The white Queen look at the series end was tremendous! One of the best wardrobe choices I've ever seen. The rest fade into obscurity in comparison. As a 73yo white male, I doubt I could do any of them justice.

As well as the White Queen outfit at the end, when we first meet Beth, she looks rather like a pawn. I don't know if that is on purpose or just because 9 year old girls look that way.

He originally had contempt for Devon Daniels, but respected him in the end, showing he truly is good at heart. Upon her reawakening, Roxy is happy to see Ravi again and helps the team rescue Devon. ) 8: Ben and Betty Burke (Probably the clumsiest workers at Grid Battleforce, Ben and Betty could possibly be related to equally clumsy fools, like Bulk and Skull. However unlike Bulk and Skull, Ben and Betty are nicer and try to help the Rangers in anyway they can. While Ben is humble and nice, Betty is more impulsive and outgoing, often dragging her brother into situations he'd rather avoid. Either way, these two are as funny as they come.) 7: Commander Shaw (Ravi's mother and the commander of Grid Battleforce, Commander Shaw is arguably one of the best Ranger mentors of all Ranger history. All though some people call her a little harsh because of her hatred of art and the idea of Ravi doing anything that doesn't involve work, Commander Shaw makes the wise decision to appoint Devon Daniels as the new Commander of Grid Battleforce and she learn to have a little fun in her life. Despite all of this, Commander Shaw doesn't always have the right answers.) 6: Mayor Adam Daniels (As the Mayor, Adam seems to be a fairly responsible and strict father to Devon, but he truly cares for his son and wants him to be prepared for the professional world. Despite thinking that Devon is so irresponsible, we were all wishing for the moment when Mayor Daniels finally found out his son is the Red Ranger. Sadly for Mayor Daniels, when he tried to save Devon from the Cyber Dimension, he ended up being possessed by the wicked Evox, leaving Devon heartbroken. However, after he's free from Evox's body, Mayor Adam Daniels still remains a good and loyal human being.) 5: Steel (Created by Nate, Steel was originally suppose to become the robot body for the evil and destructive Evox. However, when Nate morphed into the Gold Ranger, Steel morphed into the Silver Ranger. And one more surprise, it turns out that Steel is technically human. While morphing into the Silver Ranger, some of the scarab beetle DNA mixed in with Nate's DNA, making Nate and Steel brothers. Despite being self-absorbed, active, self-obsessed, and very confident, Steel is the first Power Ranger to scarab beetle themed, making Steel an all around amazing Ranger.) 4: Nate Silva (Nate is a prodigy who joined Grid Battleforce at the age of six. When he was 10, he discovered a way to harness the Morphin Grid, allowing him to refine it into a substance called Morph X. Although being a little nerdy and most people thinking he can't take care of himself, Nate was able to become the Gold Ranger and he was smart enough to create a Silver Ranger. Nate is a quick thinker in situations that require it. Being a single child, Nate always wanted an elder brother and considers Steel as a brother-figure. Nate also has feelings for Zoey, sending her Valentine's flowers secretly. Despite loving all living creatures, he suffers from arachnophobia, a fear of spiders. He has a liking for science fiction and doesn't know how to play most sports.) 3: Ravi Shaw (Ravi is the team's Blue Ranger and the muscles of the group, having Gorilla strength in his DNA. Ravi values the rules at Grid Battleforce and doesn't like the ideas of breaking any laws or the idea of disappointing his mother. Sadly for Ravi, he was forced to break up with his girlfriend Roxy because the Grid Battleforce rules state that Rangers can't date Rangers. However, since Roxy was knocked into a coma and turned into an evil Avatar, she never became a Ranger and Ravi and Roxy were able to be together. Being the first Indian Ranger, has been shown to have an extreme fear of the dentist. Ravi is truly an amazing Blue Ranger.) 2: Zoey Reeves (Originally a laundry girl at Grid Battleforce, Zoey trained to become a Battleforce cadet, but got cut for unknown reasons. However, claiming that she's not afraid of big problems, but she solves big problems, boosts her confidence to become the Yellow Beast Morphers Power Ranger. She developed a crush on Nate Silva when she first met the smart little scientist, Zoey and Nate were able to change the rules of Grid Battleforce and the two were able to have a relationship together. With the ability to jump really high due to being linked with Jackrabbit DNA and being the only female Ranger on the team, Zoey has become a favorite amongst fans and a close second to our number one pick. ) Honorable Mentions: Evox, Blaze and Roxy Avatars, Scrozzle, Beast Bots, General Burke, Muriel Reeves , Megan 1: Devon Daniels (The son of Mayor Adam Daniels, Devon is a brown belt in karate, loves to play video games, and not much into serious work, but he really wants to make his father proud. Having superhuman speed because he is linked with cheetah DNA, Devon is the fastest amongst his fellow Rangers. Just wanting to see the battle simulator in Grid Battleforce, Devon technically becomes the Red Ranger on accident. However, before becoming Ranger, Devon is shown to be brave and strong, helping to fight against the Blaze and Roxy Avatar without even being a Ranger. Even if his memory is erased or if he has been taken over by a fury cell, Devon will fight against his fellow Rangers to the very end. Devon is arguably one of the best Red Rangers of all time.)
