When we lived in the UK a very nice, but totally disciplined elderly lady and I had a talk under our hedge. Suddenly she farted. My breath stopped, I wanted to burst out in laughter, but being polite, I swallowed my giggles so much, I hardly could talk. Still looking at her ( being polite of course ) I said something like : please, excuse me , I have something on the fire. Turning back to our house, not runnig, I said under very much pressure, Patrick, shut the windows. And than I couldn't stop laughing. Tears were running down! Over a couple of days, I avoided meeting her. She was our next-door-neighbour. Even nowadays talking about it the incident makes me smile and laugh. A fart is a good release of all. If it comes at a wrong time, then double laughter! 😅😄😅
