Kevin Mulita that’s where you are competlety wrong. It was easier to score goals back then that’s why peles talent is overrated because there was 6 striker formations and horrible defending. A goalkeeper back then was actually harder and it was easier to score. He’s the only keeper to win ballan dor. he also kept many clean sheets but that’s not a very important stat since there are other players that help that. However he also saved sooo many penalties although it’s just a stat it is one of the hardest things in football

Buffon is the best while also being goat, the one with most trophies and best career, he still plays at 44 years and its relaxing watching him. He is biggest part of my childhood back in the days in italy in holidays. All in all he is the best, legendariest and my favourit keeper of all time and will always be so.

Футбол дал миру немало прекрасных вратарей, почти ничем не уступавших друг другу в мастерстве. Поколениям болельшиков было приятно смотреть на их блистательную игру. I would classify them in this order: 1st Lev Yashin, 2nd Iker Casillas, 3rd Oliver Khan, 4th Peter Cech, 5th Manuel Neuer, 6th Gianluigi Buffon, 7th Schmeichel, 8th René Higuita, 9th Dino Zoff , 10th Seaman. eye this is my opinion.

Under my opinion the top 5 : Lev Yashin, Dino Zoff, Gigi Buffon, Peter Schmeichel, Manuel Neuer. The craziest goalkeepers were defintely the Colombian Higuita + South Aftrican Bruce Grobbelaar

Seaman was good but Spain wont never remember the Zaragoza- Arsenal in the final, with that incredible goal from the middle of the camp in the 120 minute. I LOVE you Seaman, thanks for giving my Real Zaragoza the trophy.

the schmeichel montage isn't close to showcasing his best ever saves... three truly iconic/world class saves of his, ones that any keeper (past or present) would be proud of making, are noticeably absent... and that's just off the top of my head.
