@@everythingoklahoma I am from Copan Ok, a small pinprick in the map just north of Bartlesville. I grew up in the Area. Bartlesville is a VERY historic town with 2 major hidden gems.. 1.) Is the Nellie Johnstone well, which is the first oil well drilled in Indian Territory and kicked off the Oklahoma OIL BOOM. 2.) Is Beck Yard, Dr George Tann's Cemetery donated to him by the Beck family. Dr. Tann was a very rare African American Civil War Doctor. and the only Doctor in Indian Territory at the Time, he was the Doctor that the Ingalls took their sick Daughter Mary too in the Little House on the Prairie Books. Copan where I grew up was the only Train Station in that Part of Indian Territory and its station is still on Display in Bartlesville near Johnstone Park.

@@falkwulf3842 I’m so sorry, I’m just seeing your comment, but wow was it amazing! So much history and just one little paragraph lol. I’m definitely going to do more research on it because I did not know this at all. Thank you so much for sharing!

Haven't heard anything about Pawhuska, okla. The town I stayed in as a child with my cousins. They are all gone now but the memories live on of the quiet little sunburn we shared.
@everythingoklahomaРік тому
I've been hearing about Pawhuska quite a bit, I'm gonna do some research and maybe make a video out of it!

We live in Lawton, just outside Medecine Park, and we visit there a few times a year. The downtown has really expanded in recent years, as well as beautifying. Every time we visit, it changes! Love it!
@shirleyingram1383Рік тому
Awesome video! I was born in Stilwell and I think it is a beautiful little town. But all of Oklahoma is beautiful to me ! I so wish I could live in Oklahoma again!!! Thank you for showing us all those beautiful places to visit!!!

Absolutely Sarah. I've got family there and spent a lot of my childhood there going back to the early 70s. One of my favorite places was the park with the swinging bridge.

Medicine Park has so many things to see and do . The aquarium is amazing , swimming in Bath Lake is awesome and refreshing , then have dinner at The Old Plantation Restaurant and you will be in Heaven .

Has Medicine Park been hit by a tornado or hurricane lately? Just curious. I wouldn't mind moving there.

@@everythingoklahoma that we’re Oklahomas first oil well was and my grandpa work oil leases and Peabody coal company was coming through after coal and the only reason Chelsea is there is because last second Peabody backed out on a deal and Chelsea would have been Bartlesville at least that’s what he told me and he lived in alluwe ok before they build Oolagah dam so he knew a lot of history from that region and would tell me all about it have fun with your research

I'm going to motorcycle ride 90 minutes south to Hochatown this weekend... it's population and construction has exploded over the last couple years. I'll report back next week

Ya hmm hate to break it to you but Guthrie has two restaurants worth eating at and if you aren’t into museums or looking for a top rate yarn shop it is boring as heck.
@-OAK-Місяць тому
Well Guthrie as a whole is just a history museum, it’s not really meant for big amounts of people. So that why in the heart of the town there aren’t many things. The buildings are just for everyday use and not fun activities.

MINUTE 5:33 ONWARD: Broken Bow or Broken Arrow?......or there's also a town called "Broken Bow"? 😊
@aymieince1250Рік тому
Love Eufaula but the only think beautiful in the actual town of Eufaula is the cove. Carlton Landing is it’s own little town. Been there never see anyone out there but workers building more houses that look alike. Never see kids playing or anything. Locals from Eufaula and surrounding areas think there is something up with that place. Has a weird vibe to it
@everythingoklahomaРік тому
Aymie really? I love a good conspiracy theory! Hmmm..... whats up in Carlton's Landing??

It's easier to get to Stillwater than it is to get to Norman. Yet Norman has a population of 125,000 vs Stillwater's 45,000. Plus, Stillwater has an airport. Both have renowned universities. Why is it so difficult to get to Norman???

I have nothing against any of the towns mentioned, but the fact that there was only one town (Medicine Park is west and Guthrie sits right on I-35) west of I-35 mentioned is very disappointing. I promise there is beauty in western Oklahoma.
@wnewbury4Рік тому
Roger Miller museum. General Tommy Franks museum.
@katrinawoody6268Рік тому
Although I liked the video and several of the small towns were as you said beautiful and interesting and they looked fun I'm looking for another place to Live. Not just to visit. And you said nothing except for there's downtown shopping you said nothing about any of the towns having a Walmart or a dollar store like family Dollar or Dollar general or a recycling center I need these three things in order to live in the town I do not have a car so I must have close by cheap shopping such as listed above Walmart dollar stores and a recycling center. 😢

I already know about Oklahoma. I was born in McAlester Oklahoma, back in 1964....I've lived here my whole life, as being part Apache I am fond of the natural side of the state, not man's infrastructures. I do my best to get away from man, as much as possible.
@phyllisboyse2024Рік тому
Thexe are good links to beautiful towns but your pictures of Lake Eufala are fake. The lake is never blue, it is always brown, dirty looking. Great for boating and fishing but not blue

Again, a video made by someone that that never visited these places. Most of these are bedroom communities; no jobs, a lot of poverty and nothing to do but watch the sky for tornadoes.
@PolPotsPieHole5 місяців тому
Plenty to do if you get your fat A off the couch and away from the TV. Plenty of jobs in Oklahoma
@AmmoDude5 місяців тому
@@PolPotsPieHoleI've been all over Oklahoma. Jobs are in OKC metro area, Tulsa Metro area, the rest of OK is mostly rural. Lawson is probably the next "big" area with the Army presence. But, crime and drugs are prevalent, housing prices really low. In rural communities jobs are controlled by one or two corporations, usually a food processing plant of some kind. You either work for them or you don't work. Sure you can work at McD's or Sonic but good luck making a living wage.
