That's because they consistently point out that he's afraid that he doesn't have anyone who gives a fuuuuck about him. It's his greatest fear. So when Thor asks him in Ragnarok 'WTF are you doing? I've always cared about you.' it makes sense for Loki to go full on ally because he now has the thing he's always wanted. Acknowldgement from his brother.

To be fair. In Eternals, Ikaris did redeem himself when he reluctantly helped his family stop the emergence in its tracks. But feeling like he betrayed both sides, he sacrificed himself because he couldn't endure eternal punishment. He still died a hero.

Top ten things we can tell a character is a bad guy in movies before revelation 1. They often help the protagonist before revealing their colors 2. They are once friends with the protagonist parents then turned betrayal 3. Jealousy 4. They are too good to be true 5. They fake being a hero until the truth revealed halfway through the movie (like mysterio) 6. Their motive to bring back losses (like the scarlet witch) 7. They are the mastermind behind everything that happened to the hero 8. They tried to make their project work which ended up a disaster (green goblin for example) 9. Drive for revenge (Harry Osborne in 2002) 10. They fell under the true villains mind control

To be honest, I saw Tony Stark as a huge backstabber in Civil War(perhaps more so than anyone). Cap helped him put Ultron down, but Tony betrayed his respect by capitulating to the Accords agenda from the get go. I don’t care what you say about Cap’s “lie” about Bucky, Tony screwed(or should I say F***ED) the pooch FIRST.

Well Tony did create Ultron and felt that he was responsible for the deaths lost during Sokovia. And although he did attack Bucky and Cap, you would probably do the same thing of the person who killed your parents was standing right there.

There's a running theory that the reason Ego's other children failed is that he culled them too early. The celestial genes didn't manifest because they had to reach peak maturity first. Peter Quill was the first and only of Ego's children to reach adulthood alive. When you realize that, Ego's actions are just a little more reprehensible than they already were.

We have already had MacGargan, Thunderbolt Ross, Norman Osborn, Taskmaster, and Baron Zemo in the MCU we're only missing Songbird, Moonstone, Fixer, Atlas, and a few other members. Also Ross was Red Hulk, Osborn was Iron Patriot, Zemo was himself, MacGargan was Venom, and Taskmaster as himself in the comics (probably will be the female one from Black Widow in the movie)

I gotta sympathize for Ikarus, it all he knew for why he wanted to continue in the emergences. I do hope Arishem will revive him and the others in the next film. It's said Kazi will return in the upcoming Echo series, maybe he'll start going by Clown faceplate and all. Fra will need to shave. With Mysterio I do hope everybody know the fraud he was, and the next film, whenever, will restore their memories of Peter but keep his Spider id secret.

Mysterio and Obadiah Stane, definately. Those two deserve a lot of hate because they both managed to get their hands on Stark's technology for use of their master plans and even ironically had the same guy working for them.

He couldn’t get back at Tony, but instead went insane and targeted Peter unjustly. Honestly out of all the MCU baddies that have really harmed the heroes, I put him at 3rd. Under Thanos and Ego
