I love how they describe such a descriptive story in 5 seconds. One of my favourites is at 2:56, and I'm guessing it is a failed space mission in which the last survivor is drinking away his pain while the spacecraft burns up as it re-enters the atmosphere of a dead planet, next to their dead buddy who'd died long before.

4:26 has got to be one of my favorites, just the way it makes the world look so huge and expansive, I just wanna make now a whole dnd campaign in it! its so magical!

Personally my favourite is 00:31 because I love how it just portrays space travel in the future as something that looks as easy as getting onto a plane

6:26 has to be my fav of all time. Showing the how cool the character is with two swords and a cool mask, two swat team officers about to apprehend him, lights coming of his eyes showing how imitated/dangerous he is. Its like a cool movie thats about to happen.

4:48 really hit the spot for me, I just love the way how there’s a beautiful background among a electro artificial world.

3:46 my fave part… i can feel the emotion the character feels just by his posture and the dejected gun handling, and the whole dystopian setting is so evident and alive ugh i am in LOVE

3:56 the shadow of the spaceship on the planet is just an amazing touch

3:47 this really capture the spirit of infinity journey: Tired, used to it, bored, but still go on with the journey

So many deserved shout outs, like the one where the perspective was flipped and we were looking at a glass bottom floor or the phone pictures one for subverting our expectations, as well as every ghiblicore one, but 8:30 hit me like a sledgehammer. As a big ffxiv fan, knowing all the context behind this shot left me speechless. Bravo.

5:11 I love this render from Zhenhai Zhang. The scene, the colors, the vibe - Everything is perfect.

3:52 I need to see more of this world

instead of listing my favs based on visual appeal I’m going to mention the ones that gripped me emotionally: 2:01 the human is so expressive! Like the joy in the fist pump and the twinkle in the eye. The movement felt so energetic yet so subtle. Made me happy for them when though I had no idea wtf was going on 3:47 their posture and the simplicity of not lifting their head almost had me in tears. That is a level of exhaustion and emptiness that I have felt in my bones 4:57 ngl, this one only caught my eye after rewatching to make this list. Just the “Go Back” instead of the typical “cancel” got me. Of course the implication of deleting memories is sad, but the fact that keeping them wouldn’t be just “saving the good times” but escaping the pain of now 5:02 the face of pure terror. Like, even in death they couldn’t find peace

I have watched each of these render montage videos at least 4 times in the last year. Each time, I sit dumbstruck by the incredible imagination that each artwork inspires. Thank you. Thank you so much.

The coloring is stunning on 5:14 and 1:03. 3:12 has some amazing visuals. 3:47: The feeling we get that this character has been through hell and lost everything in the process is nice. 6:16 feels really chill. And I like how vibrant 5:26 is. (Sorry for the long list. I really couldn't pick just one).

5:11 is my absolute favourite. I love how much of a contrast it provides. From the stream of people going backwards (also implying that the main character is moving forward) to the fact that she is having her own "Infinite Journeys" through the books she had around her. Sometimes you just need to be alone in a corner somewhere with a good book to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of life.

0:53 is my favorite because the kind of calm nature the man shows in that image

Something like this is so freaking awesome to me because of two reasons: 1. This is truly the embodiment of where art is headed and it looks beautiful, even though 2d would definetly never stop since it has its own appeal 2. Each of these sections have a TON of story written all over them. You can make thousands of storylines just for a single guy and its really present there, and that's just awesome

8:31 has a special place in my heart, but all of these are simply stunning! Such amazing talent from all these artists.

2:56 is my favourite the way it just portrayed the loneliness of the character you could see the markings on the window of how many days he was there and how he drew a face on his friends helmets because he was just alone it was so deep and amazing they deserve so much recognition.

Just like with the “Alternate Realities” 3D Render Challenge, the music is amazing. And again, it’s like a great multiverse odyssey, only this time you’re in a vehicle. These 3D render challenges also remind me a lot of Netflix’s “Love, Death and Robots” where each episode is its own unique story with a completely different team behind the production. Doesn’t anyone else feel the same way? Heck, there were a couple LD&R inspired entries in the list of every entry for this challenge and the Moving Meditations one.

4:57 has to be the most relatable one for me, and I really like how, given the name of the prompt, it could mean the inability to get over someone that feels seemingly “infinite”
