2 роки томуThe World's Top 100 Airlines for 2021 as voted by airline customers around the world sees Qatar Airways ranked No 1, with Singapore Airlines in 2nd and ANA All Nippon Airways in 3rd position.
The 2021 Awards are based on a much extended customer survey period from September 2019 to July 2021, representing a mix of normal travel times combined with travel during the global pandemic.

I’ve been on delta, United, American Airlines, emirates, SAUDIA, tiger airways, Garuda Indonesia, Air France, Flynas, flyadeal, and Turkish airlines I don’t remember my flights on United, American Airlines, delta, and Turkish airlines because I was rlly young but from the rest this is how I’d rank them: 1- Emirates (I only flew once on emirate to Kuala Lumpur but it was amazing, I didn’t want the flight to end lol) 2- SAUDIA (I flew on SAUDIA the most and it’s an amazing airline imo although it is a little pricey compared to some other airlines but still cheaper than emirates) 3- Air France (I flew a short haul flight from Paris-Barcelona so maybe that’s y it ranks lower) 4- Flynas (for a cheaper, budget airline it’s actually decent) 5- Flyadeal (I feel like it’s an average budget airline, nothing special) 6- Garuda Indonesia (I flew first class and it’s equivalent to economy on emirates but then again the flight was a long time ago maybe they improved the airline) 7- Tiger airways (makes sense since it was a budget airline)

I flew Qatar Airways from Houston to Addis Ababa and it was the best airline I have ever traveled. The staff are super nice. And WiFi for free on board for 1 hour. They don’t have WiFi for free on Spirit Airways when I traveled from Houston to Chicago. The staff give and backpack full of stuff of kids on board too.

Delta placed 30th on this list, being the highest ranking of the USA carriers. But there is no denying the middle eastern carriers being subsidized by their governments can surely offer the best services possible.

That’s an easy excuse to make when you are a CEO of one of these carriers. These airlines had 20-30 year old aircraft, no retrofits in years and had a nerve to blame the Middle Eastern carriers? All while still stripping their services, removing IFE etc. The issue was investment and these airlines didn’t want to engage in it. Look at delta, they have bought new aircraft and retrofit their existing aircraft so they are better than the Middle Eastern oldest aircraft in some ways. All they need to do now is better their service, again, easily dome now they have the good hard product. AA and United under new leadership are also doing the same with IFE and new interior rolling out. They made excuses to justify their inaction to compete, now they are stepping up.

@@Horizon301. maybe because 1. Emirates already operates new interiors. 2. Qatar is retrofitting the 777 with Q-Suite and the newer Economy IFE. 3. Etihad has retrofitted the 777 with newer seats and will be retired by the end of the year.

@@ryleferrer4876 What’s your point? They had new aircraft yes but they also have dated interiors by their own standards. Still nothing compared to what the American carriers did with stripping back of IFE on new interiors and failure to retrofit existing aircraft fully or at long intervals. These carriers didn’t want to reinvest, AA didn’t need government subsidies to make it a better airline when it’s making billions

@@maurosilva734 the age of aircraft is a big factor. Airlines are unwilling to invest as much in older aircraft, particularly if new products are designed for a certain type, take Qatar for example which hasn’t got Q-Suite and only just recieved a more premium business class. Also, the age means that the cabin unless refreshed is dated, the Middle Eastern carriers do sometimes leave it long before doing this and the American carriers were even worse. When they (American carriers) used refresh cabins, it was merely new side panels, carpeting etc and seat covers. Take these airlines now, they literally gut the cabins and buy new seating, IFE, lighting etc, delta is a a highlight here with what they did to their 30 year old aircraft and B757/B767 fleets. I think emirates is lagging behind with some aircraft, the older A380’s are partially in need of a revamp also but they would rather scrap and avoid the investment

Imo porter is way up there, at least 40 on the list. Ever since I went to Billy Bishop and saw that first plane, I've loved them. Now they've added the E295 to their fleet, and are expanding a lot. I expect them to far surpass WestJet and AirCanada on this list in the near future. Best of wishes to Porter.

@@darthindomie4461 How does Garuda deserve that position when it has crashed a few time during the 2000's? Meanwhile Etihad and Air NZ has never crashed in the 2000's. For cabin Garuda has terrible IFE for economy pretty small screen and very unresponsive and small english choice

@@ryleferrer4876 No., they had crash too., Etihad crash on 2007 and air NZ crash on 2008 i think, i forget but they did. And for the screen, i think garuda hve avarage one, not that small, not that big too. Air asia i think have the small one. I flight from kuala lumpur to narita it was quite small screen but its okay, thats not big deal, as long as you can watch movie or playing music its fine for me. I agree when you say 'unresponsive' bcause when i flight from narita to bali with garuda it was unresponsive sometimes, but when i flight from jakarta to amsterdam it was good, the screen was big, and really responsive too. Ya i think depends on which type of plane, and this should be a homework for garuda to make all international flight have the same, so the passenger can feel the same experiance.

*MH planes are old and tired* *I've flown on their 333s, broken tables, armrests, and not to forget their toilets are a run down. 332s are leased ex AirBerlin's, horrible cabin features* *Wonder why they are not investing in new generation jets such as B787 B777-8/9* *Yes they placed orders for the 737Max & 330Neos, but certainly the order placements were way too late*
