This is truly country music, & not the crap they play now a days.

Every once in a while I listen to these old songs just to calm my mind. Our world right now is chaotic and mad and I thank God for old country songs that keeps me sane.

Today is my late husbands birthday. He introduced me to country music 40 years ago when in the UK, serving the US military. I just had to listen some of the classics we both loved to listen and dance too.

Memories of my mother live in many of these songs. She passed away in October at the age of 82. She was a woman of faith, of love, and of great taste.

Please take me back. The best era, the best times, Growing up in the 70,s and the 80's and the world seemed so idyllic and simple. What I wouldn't give to go back. I look in the rearview mirror. and smile 😁.Forever grateful for growing up when I did. Thete will never be music like this ever again! ❤

My Grandfather used to listen to old country (Im 35 some wont tell you the true age... im sensitive Lol) any way. When i was young he would play these songs, all from his days and id listen... its all i can do not to drink and cry when i hear these wonderful songs. Thank you for the playlist

Old Country Collection, I love good music and especially music from better times. Country music is like a comfortable old sweat shirt that one just can not throw away. Thank you for your "effort" here... I say "effort" because your editing skills are very poor and therefore this collection ends up being annoying. Songs ending abruptly or ending 3 times??? No lead in to the next song, etc...
