Thank goodness SNL passed up Jim Carrey in the 80s. I can't see anyone else playing the characters he did in those In Living Color sketches.😁

ILC had the type of humor and audience best suited for Jim Carrey to shine. It was also a flip on the stereotype, as he was the token white guy.

I don't see how anyone could deny Jim Carrey's addition to a cast of any comedy show. Even back during his stand-up days he was completely unique. There was nobody else doing it like he was.

I have my criticisms of Lorne Michaels regarding how he treats existing staff, but he knows how to recognize talent. None of these people in this list are funny, save for Louis CK, Carrell, and Carrey.

SNL is not comedy. It’s cheesy and weird. All my extended family was talking about SNLSNL I had heard of it and I finally watched it. I watched some UKposts videos. said the best episodes and it’s just some strange shit going on. none of its funny. stand-up comedy is gold compared to this crap.
