Looking for the top things to do in Charlottesville, Virginia? In this video we take you to some of the top local attractions as we explore Charlottesville, VA in January 2021.
We start our tour of Charlottesville with a visit to the historic Downtown Mall where we enjoy coffee at Grit Coffee and Mudhouse Coffee shops. We continue our tour with a trip to the University of Virginia and then on to Thomas Jefferson's beautiful home, Monticello, a historic building in Charlottesville, VA.
If you enjoy the outdoors and hiking, this beautiful town has you covered. Of course, Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains are just a short drive away, but closer to town there are lots of great hiking options. We share some of our favorite Charlottesville hikes which include Ivy Creek Natural Area, Ragged Mountain, and the beautiful Crabtree Falls.
To wrap up our list of top things to do in Charlottesville, we visit Blue Mountain Brewery and Carter Mountain Orchard.
